Not Shanghai. This is due to the bread supply company changing and that was not due to Shanghai since it was in progress long before this. Different supplier different bread.I saw on Twitter that they changed the bread of Tonga Toast from Sourdough to French bread and it now is not as good, Thank you Shanghai.
I am still praying this is not true.
Yep.But I thought everything was because of Shanghai?

Have heard about this tonga toast for years!! Never had the time to get to the poly just to try the it. Well we finally have the opportunity to stay at the poly and was planning to have breakfast one morning at Kona just to try it...... Oh, well
Still try it!!!! If you've never had it then you won't even know the difference. Don't let this put a negative thought in your mindHave heard about this tonga toast for years!! I loved it! But my 5 year old said it was too sweet. They also have AMAZING pancakes. If you have a least 2 people in your party order both and shareI've never had it but it's on the list of things to try. If it has changed, it won't deter me from trying it in the future. I am more concerned about it being just too much sugar & too sweet for my taste more than the type of bread which is probably why I haven't tried yet.
Little hint with the Tonga toast...when I had it the only real sweet thing about it I though was the strawberry topping they give u for it. I think I much rather of had regular syrup or eaten it plain, but what did I know when I first ordered it lol...I just dumped all that strawberry stuff on lol
We ordered it from room service.. I skipped the strawberry topping..it didn't look too appealing. They brought us regular syrup as well. Maybe because my son had the macadamia pancakes. Who knows..but I was glad we had it.Little hint with the Tonga toast...when I had it the only real sweet thing about it I though was the strawberry topping they give u for it. I think what appears even more "uninformed" is the repeated misspelling of a major city in China that has been spelled correctly multiple times in this thread. SHANGHAI.Has nothing to do with Shanghi.
Theme Park Insider had a great article published. What #ThanksShanghi folks don't understand is the basic accounting principles of "Operating Budgets" & "Capital Budgets". If Shanghi Disney is having major cost over runs they are Capital Budget hits. The expected seasonal cuts currently occurring in the US parks are "Operational Budget" cuts. They both do hit the bottom line for sure, but analysts understand the issue. The people currently blaming everything on Shanghi simply appear uninformed
