"Smile like you're massaging my feet!" A Nov '14 TR! *Updated 6/17 & 6/18- NEW TR LINK POSTED*

I love the Animation Class but if you don't hit it right, it can be quite a "boring" wait. They need to have something there for you to do while waiting. You did awesome on your drawing.

I lone One Man's Dream; I always cry at the movie.

Haha, smart mom deciding to chill on the comfy couches until just about time to go in. :thumbsup2

One Man's DREAM!!!! I am so glad you decided to visit. It really is a magnificent place to see. But yes, you must see the movie. It is such an amazing story obviously, but the way the movie is put together. It's just beautiful and so inspirational.

Fun "down" time in HS! The drawing class seems fun but I'm a horrible artist so I'm not sure there's any hope I would draw anything recognizable!

Love the pictures of One Man's Dream!

WOW! you got some great characters at the palooza. How fun to meet Bert and Dopey especially. I will have to learn more about it before we go again.
Cute Jiminy cricket drawing! I love that class. So much fun!

It makes me sad that the drawing classes are so popular now! Unless you go first thing in the morning, you almost always have to wait through two classes to get in. Great drawing of Jiminy!

Ah, One Man's Dream is such an emotional place to visit. I definitely don't remember the props from Honey I Blew Up the Kid. I wonder if they are new in there? I didn't visit there in Oct or Dec.

Things definitely have changed with the drawing class! I remember my last 2 trips weren't like that at all!

Hmm I'm not sure if it's new or not! But it was a cool thing to see. For that matter, the whole exhibit was great!

I agree! The only thing up there to look at is Mr. Incredible and Frozone, and then gets old pretty fast haha

I definitely need to check out the movie!

I'm so glad I got to visit too! So many awesome things to see. I will definitely see the movie one day!

I am a terrible drawer so it really surprises me that I even like this class AND that I do a decent job! The animators really do a great job at teaching and going through all the steps!

Characterpalooza is a total must! And thank you! It really is such a fun class.

Day 4 - Osborne Lights

It was around 5:40 when we got off of Star Tours. I decided to stop at a FP+ kiosk to see if there were any FP available for the 2nd Fantasmic and there was so I grabbed them for us just to be safe! Then we decided to head over to the Streets of America to be there when the Osborne Lights turned on! We stopped at the pretzel stand to grab some snacks. And then...it started snowing!

Not our best picture, haha!

And shortly after that, the lights came on and I was the happiest girl ever :) Honestly, I have seen pictures of the lights but it doesn't even compare to being there in person and soaking it all in. Honestly one of the most amazing things I've ever seen, I was in LOVE  We walked around just enjoying the lights, and basically stopped at every PP photographer we found.

Continued in next post...

We stayed at the lights for about an hour before deciding to head in the direction of Sunset Blvd. Of course we couldn't resist a few more PP shots!

We stopped at Sweet Spells to grab a snack for Fantasmic. Dad didn't want anything but Mom & I bought a caramel apple to split. Such a good decision because this thing was AMAZING!

Up next...Fantasmic!

This is what I like to try now for Fantasmic, but only as an extra FP. It's debate-ably worth it, so why not.

Oh yeah, those Lights are meant to be seen in person. I especially love all the little Disney touches throughout. It's so nice that you all got to share this together too.

The Osborne lights look amazing, of course! And great PP pictures! It does seem really strange to see you guys in shorts and t-shirts with Christmas lights in the background!!

Can't wait to hear about Fantasmic!

I love all the details of Osborne Lights that you captured! Some of the best pics of them I've seen!

Such beautiful pictures of the Osborne lights!

Awesome that you were able to snag a last minute FP for Fantasmic!

I agree, if you can get it as one of your extras I think it's perfect! And thanks Rob, it was a really nice experience to have together!

I could really go for a caramel apple right now...looks delish....

I agree, so tasty!!

Haha you're so right, it seems a little out of place! Same with our pics with Santa Goofy!

Thank you so much, Brenda, that means a lot!

Thank you!! Yes, the FP for Fantasmic turned out to be a good catch!

Non-TR update #2

Less than 60 days until my next trip! I scheduled FP+ over the weekend and wanted to share what I got :)

Magic Kingdom: Peter Pan, Seven Dwarf Mine Train, Splash Mountain
Epcot: Soarin, Character Spot, Spaceship Earth
Hollywood Studios: Toy Story, ToT, Star Tours
Animal Kingdom: Kiliminjaro Safaris, EE, Meet Mickey & Minnie

I got everything I wanted and for the times I wanted which was great! I also did our online check-in and made requests for a ground floor and the Calypso building, we'll see if we end up getting them. The only things left to do are buy Memory Maker and pick our magic band colors!

My cousin and I had our second Disney night over President's Day Weekend. We watched Wreck It Ralph (her first time seeing it) and Cinderella since it was it's Anniversary! This coming weekend we're going to have another movie night and will be making special matching shirts for one of our park days!

I'll have another TR update for you all soon!

Not surprising, but excellent choices there Alexis. The Mickey and Minnie meet at AK is an interesting choice, but one I certainly do support. This is one of the few places (maybe only place) you can meet them together anymore. I don't remember them having FP for this before either so must be a fairly new add.

LOVE all the photos of the Osborne Lights. We sorely missed not seeing it this past year after having seen it the previous two. I truly hope the rumors are false that they are getting rid of it. I'll be heartbroken if I don't see it again.

I love all of your photopass pics...you are such a cute threesome.

And great FP selections for your upcoming trip.

I'm still debating the Memory Maker for May (I'll definitely get it for July and October).

Thanks, Rob! The final FP for AK was between Dinosaur and Meeting Mickey and Minnie. I know that the wait time there can get kind of long sometimes though and it's something we definitely want to do so I figured it's worth it! :)

I really hope they don't get rid of the lights either! After seeing them for the first time, I know that I will want to go back and see them again!

Thank you :) :)

Even though it's a short trip, I know we will get a lot of use out of Memory Maker so it will be worth it for us. It all depends on if you think you will use it a lot in May!

Great FP choices! Glad you were able to get everything that you wanted.

Thank you! FP+ selection day is always stressful, so I was glad it all worked out!

Love your Osborne Lights photos. Never seen it in person (we've never gone during holida season) and now maybe never will get to see it as there are rumors it is going away due to DHS expansions. Oh well, will live vicariously through you and other DISers :goodvibes

Happy for you that you got all the FP+ you wanted and at the times you wanted - that is pretty huge!

We didn't do a whole Disney movie weekend thing - but with the weather we had on Sunday we did do Family Movie afternoon watching Big Hero 6 :thumbsup2

Great Osborne Lights pictures!! I am really sad we missed that this year. But just means we need to go again!
Love all the photopass pictures of the three of you!
