Single digits!!!!!!

I can hardly believe we're only 9 days from the Villas at the Wilderness Lodge!!! It seemed so far away and then all of a sudden it's here!! I'm really excited but can't stop thinking of all the folks in Florida! It just makes me sad to think of all that they're going through. Should I feel guilty about going on a vacation that has been planned for 9 months??? I would do a single digit dance but under the circumstances, is it appropriate?

I totally know what you mean. We're almost single digits. Still hesitant to see what the upcoming weather holds. I also feel some guilt going down there to vacation when residents are struggling to get their lives back in order. But I believe that they do need the tourism. They've taken quit a hit with it is the past month.
Feels weird that months ago I put so much planning in and it is almost here . . .

I'm with you both, we're leaving on wed. by car from Long Island New York, and will take our time down I95 we are due to check in on Thurs at the Contemporary for 1 night then Friday to the Poly LVC for 10 days. I've been so sad, I have family there and am not sure if my aunt is o.k. and I feel guilty for going but the trip was planned more then 8 months ago. So I have the same mixed emotions you have

My dance isn't quite so happy since we're scheduled to fly out on Tuesday... and that looks like the day that Ivan will be in the area if he affects Orlando. Here's to keeping our fingers crossed for Ivan to just go away!!!!
