Does anyone know if we go ahead & pre-order the $89 photo package can we upgrade to a bigger package at Shutter's during our cruise if we want to?
I would like to know this too.

Ok, I really want some nice pictures from the cruise and am leaning towards the CD purchase. About how many pictures are on the CD?? I will be on the 4 night Christmas Dream Cruise and really want to treat myself to family pictures, but I don't want to waste my money if I would be better off just buying indivudual pictures. I am super tight with my finances.... But pictures are priceless!!! Do they really turn out nice on the CD and then you can just print then off where you want???
I am down to the final crunch time and woke up at 4am stressing..... over everything...... AHHHHH
Thanks!!!

Is it "cheaper" to pre-order the $89 package, which equals to about 5 8x10 prints or is there no price difference if we just end up purchasing 5 prints on board a la carte?
If memory serves, individual 8x10s are $19.95, and 6x8s $9.95.
I don't understand why they don't include DCL with the Photopass system. On our past 2 cruises with different lines, I remember the photo prices being expensive but not necessarily ridiculous. We walked away with several prints, if I remember right. We'll be on our first DCL cruise in January and I know we'll want some prints.

One other note, is if you do buy the CD, you get 50% off any prints. We bought the CD and got a few prints so we could have borders on our favorite ones.
Oh my, well ... here's hoping the photographers are just as talented with my own camera as they are with their own. I'll have to talk with the family to see what they think would be the best plan financially.
As many pics as the Shutters photogs take--no limit. If they don't fit on one CD, you'll get another gratis. The CD includes a release that allows you to do pretty much whatever you want with them. The only caveat I would warn you about is that the pics on the CDs do not include borders, whereas the hardcopies offered will. We bought both the CD and quite a few prints to cover all the bases. DW is quite the picture nerd.

I was considering purchasing the $199 CD package (we always take LOTS of photos).
But the only package I see currently on the site is the following.
Am I missing something?
A Photo of a Young Disney Cruise Line Guest Standing with Captain Jack Sparrow
Photo Premium Pkg: 30 Photo Credits
$199
Use photo credits in any combination, each 6 x 8 photo = 1 credit, and each 8 x 10 photo = 2 credits. Receive a gift message card in your stateroom to redeem at Shutters. (A $1 service fee will be charged)
Thje CD is not offered online to prepurchase, but you can convert the credit from a prepurchase over towards the CD.
So on board you can get the CD with all the pics for $199?
Does it come with anything else (prints to take home for example?)
