Thanks Dzne!
Now all we need is a wake-up call!! I've never slept thru a movie at 9a.m., could be my first.

I guess they didn't send these to all Preferred AP holders. Oh well I won't be there until the 25th anyway. I would love to go (but would hope for the 10:00am movie...I am not an early bird). I wish it were the next weekend.

Dznefreek - where are they holding the the breakfast? I couldn't make that out from the scan.

We are AP holders and are arriving on Thursday - and my DH wants to do this.

Thanks
Becky

I just got mine and I'm booking it! It does not say where Breakfast will be, but I'm thinking Lombards or Monster's cafe. It's the closest to the attraction. The funny thing is that I got this postcard, but I am still waiting for the Mummy one.:(

SpideyHulk I was going to say the same thing about getting this post card but not the Mummy event. It is really sad that I get the not so good ones but don't get the better ones. You must have gotten a different post card than I did because mine didn't have a location on it.

I called this morning and it is already all booked for Saturday (22nd) and Sunday (23rd). There are still some spaces available for Friday (21st) though. I was very disappointed but didn't realize it would fill up so quickly. What do you guys think my chances are that someone will cancel for Sunday and I'll get 2 spaces?

Dznefreek--
Thanks SO much for posting this. I did not receive a postcard for this AP event, as so often happens, but thanks to you I called the AP line and our family is now going on the 21st. I got a little more info from the CM who booked it for me. The breakfast at Monsters' Cafe will be buffet style. They're not absolutely sure which characters will be there but definitely Shrek and Princess Fiona. The others will be some of the storybook characters. (My 10 year old will be a bit disappointed--no Donkey) The new Shrek2 film will be shown at the Universal Cineplex at Citywalk.

Tickets for the breakfast are pre-paid on your credit card and are mailed to you. The parking lots will be open by 6:30 a.m. for the event.

It should be a fun morning. Now I just have to figure out how to stay awake all the way to midnight as we're going to the Mummy AP event that night:crazy:

No Donkey? I was told he might be there. We are going Sunday at 7 a.m. That was all that was available. I wanted the later time, but that's better than nothing.

You're going to Universal On May 23rd SH?!?!?! Going to stay all day, or just for the event? You better stay for the whole day...especially after what happened during your last trip! :) Plus, you'll get to ride Mummy! :bounce:

Will it be open on the 23rd? I would love to ride it!!!!!! We were planning just for the event, but I think I might have to change plans. Are you going?

I'll be there Saturday and Sunday at least. Will hopefully be there Friday as well...at least for like half the day... :)

We'll have to meet up!

Wow! Glad I got in at the last minute. Any idea how many people will be attending each breakfast?

I'm really looking forward to this event now. We watched the Shrek2 First Look special on HBO last night. I know you can't always tell from the clips they show, but this movie looks like it may even be funnier than the first one. Antonio Bandaras looks like he's going to be very funny as Puss in Boots. He seemed really into it on the special last night. And I've always had a soft spot in my heart for Julie Andrews, who plays Princess Fiona's mother.
