I have a question for in regards to the Carnival cruise line......I noticed you have been on the Paradise..can you compare Carnival to Disney for me? I have read so many conflicting reports that I would greatly appreciate some honest feedback

Hi Vivig... I'm sorry to just get back, but have been gone most of the day. My reasons for chosing CCL, is because I do enjoy the casinos and adult activities offered there. All of my cruises have been with adults only, because my children are grown. I booked DCL because of my grandson. Do not get me wrong, I love the Magic, and my DD and DGS will be going again next year, but I will be back on DCL when my middle DGS is able to go. it is just a personal preference. CCL cabins are comparable with DCL, especially the newer Spirit class ships,although DCL has larger portholes in the cat.9 rooms. Also now that CCL has a new ship leaving from Baltimore, we will be able to drive to it in about 1 hour. I will be loving that aspect as well. However, every child should be able to experience DCL, because there is nothing like it anywhere.

My next cruise will not be the same without..
Split Bathrooms.. (I didn't think I would like it, but loved it)
Large Porthole window..
Disney Characters all over..
Food..
Changing resturants(sp) each night (loved it)..
Excellent kids club..
Movie Theater..
Friendly staff..(generally seem as though they are happy doing their jobs)
Large portholes throughout the ship..
Shows are excellent..
I did not go to Palo, but sounds great..
and mostly..CASTAWAY CAY
