Has anyone had those amazing moments that they would like to share so someone else could enjoy?

It could be anything from something at the parks, to your resort, to breaking down on I 4 and trying to find the parks by walking......:confused3 or finding a coupon on the bottom of your receipt and getting a DEAL!! or Finding that little corner table in the back of Morocco that was perfect to clear your head and just enjoy lunch with your husband?? PLEASE share, i'm sure we'd all love to hear about your magic... :lovestruc

Mine happened when DD was 4. We were in NFL when Peter Pan and Wendy came out of nowhere and started tapping my daughter on her shoulder and joking around. Each of them then took a hand and she got to ride Peter Pan's Flight with the pair. On the same trip we were also in NFL and instead of putting my sunglasses on I was using my hand as a visor. The Royal Majesty Makers were out and the next thing I know I'm being told "There's no need to salute me yet, love. It's still years before I'll be declared king.". I got a good giggle out of it.

I remember when my brother rode the hotel monorai. It was near sunset and we were going to the setting sun. That I think was the most awesome time. I have been to wdw many times but this was the best. I was there with my mother sister and brother. That was a first for everyone but me. I was stationed in Tampa for 2 years. My friends and I used to dive up and down i 4
on a regular basis.

Ds was 4 and DD was 1, we had just finished visiting Rapunzel, Cinderella and Sleep Beauty in the Town Square Theatre. We were exiting when I heard someone calling "excuse me Mom" I turned to see a CM waving me over. She told us that we were needed through the door that she was holding open. We walked through to find all 3 princesses waiting for us! We had a private mini photoshoot, and my children got to dance with the princesses. It was priceless and I still tear up thinking about it!

On our honeymoon many moons ago, DH and I did the KTTK tour the morning before we were to attend MNSSHP. It was a fantastic tour, and at the end we asked our tour guide (who was amazing) about the party and if we would be the only two fool adults in costume. He laughed and assured us we'd be in good company then asked what we were dressing as. We told him we were planning to be Mouseketeers, and he asked us to stop by City Hall when we arrived for the party so he could see our costumes. We told him we'd try, as we had reservations at Liberty Tree Tavern before the party started.

We assumed he was just being polite by asking us to stop by at City Hall to see him, so when we returned to the park later that day we headed straight for LTT in our costumes (which were a big hit with the CM's and other guests). LTT was PACKED and we were seated way in a back room. About halfway through dinner, the hostess comes pushing her way through the crowd of people into our back room...towing our tour guide from the morning with her! He was so relieved to find us...he remembered we had reservations for dinner so came looking for us when we didn't stop by...and would we like to be GRAND MARSHALLS OF THE BOO TO YOU PARADE??

Um...YEAH!

I was gobsmacked that he would go through all that trouble for us! So at the appointed time we went to the backstage area by Splash to get ready for the parade. We were escorted to the lead car where the friendliest CM's in all the land joked and hung with us while waiting for the parade start. Sitting in the car, I casually mentioned to our driver CM that I was thrilled to be the Grand Marshall but bummed that I wasn't going to get to see the Headless Horseman i ad heard so much about. The CM smiled and pointed over my shoulder...I turned around and THERE WAS THE HORSEMAN...his black horse practically breathing down my neck!! He spurred his horse and away they trotted with my eyes big as saucers behind him (along with the poor kid with the shovel who has to run behind him).

When my oldest daughter was 2, she LOVED Nemo. She would watch it in the van, and yell, "Fish! Mommy, wook...FISH!" every single time a fish would swim on the screen. There are A LOT of fish in that movie.

So, I made her an outfit out of Nemo fabric that still fit a year later when we finally went to Disney. I made her little sister a coordinating outfit, and planned for them to wear it on our Epcot day. High priority was Finding Nemo ride (and view the aquarium).

We made it to rope drop, very very early. The CM saw the girls, and started chatting with us. After about 30 minutes, she asked us if we wanted to be Family of the Day and open the park! OF COURSE we did!!!! It was magical and wonderful.

Then, we walked up to where you waited for Soarin', planning to go to Nemo while Dh got Soarin' fast passes. The Nemo CM were standing up there and got super excited to see the girls in Nemo outfits. The CM said, "We always see Princesses, but NEVER a Nemo outfit! Love it!!" I told that CM that my older daughter's favorite movie was still Nemo, and told her how cute it was that she had to tell me about every single fish that came on the screen in that movie and how glad I was that she no longer did that. We laughed, and she called another CM over. They then asked us if we wanted to be First Family of the Day to ride Nemo. Sure!!!

Best part? The personal tour of the aquarium. My kids asked so many questions. :D That entire day was full of magic from start to finish.

(and after the Nemo ride and tour we still managed to get an early enough Soarin' despite it being Thanksgiving week)

When my daughter was almost four, she's 35 now, we were watching Donald's Birthday Parade. Alice came by and handed Catie the whole group of balloons she was carrying! That little girl was in heaven :)

On our first trip, on our first park day at MK (DD was 4), we had been to BBB followed by at late dinner at CRT. DD was already in princess heaven, and we thought we were done for the night.

As we walked out the front of the castle, we saw all of a packed Main Street watching us! (For some reason it hadn't occurred to me yet that Wishes was starting in 5minutes). I'm not even sure we were supposed to be coming down the castle ramp by then since it was already roped off at the bottom.

But the CM guarding it just ushered us on down. There was no way we were going to be able to go any further though, with the crowd that was camped out everywhere. So the CM told us to sit down just on the other side of the rope, and we ended up having a perfect, front row seat right at the base of the castle for Wishes!

It was the most amazing way to end our first day, and DD's mesmerized gaze during the show is one if my favorite memories of all time. It was a magical evening that I doubt we will ever be able to match.

Every trip we've taken has had many magical moments...we are pretty outgoing and energetic, so I think that helps. Here are some:

1. Son's 8th birthday in 2005: he was picked to open Hollywood Studios, a cast member at the candy store there said, "Oh, Mickey left you a birthday gift!" and gave him a bunch of free candy; mousekeeping at Pop left balloons and a card in our room

2. Husband's 45th birthday in 2006: he was picked to be onstage in the Indian Jones show and he is an actor, so the audience thought he was planted since he did so well; we won multiple Dream Fast Passes that trip during "Year of a Million Dreams"; I gave Chip and Dale acorns when we posed with them and they went NUTS and brought Donald over and lots of craziness ensued.

3. That same trip we went to MNSSP and my husband went as cryogenically frozen Walt Disney, with blue icy makeup and even a black and white Steamboat Mickey stuffed animal pinned to his suit. I was the hag from Snow White, our DD was Tinkerbelle and our DS was Davy Jones. Let me tell you, that was WILD. Cast members went crazy for my husband! A manager came by and they did a special photo shoot with him posed in front of the castle (I will have to scan in the photos and post); everyone called him Boss all night. He LOVED it!!!! I have to be honest and say I think everyone thought he was the ghost of Walt Disney and not "Disney on Ice" as we called it ;)but we are huge Walt fans, so it was all in fun! The next day, we went back to MK and the Dapper Dans remembered us from the party.

4. In 2012, we were picked to be Grand Marshals of the afternoon parade, on my son's 15th birthday. It was funny because this was our "secret trip" that we did not tell anyone about (my employer was firing people left and right and I felt guilty about the trip) and they announce our names and hometown over the PA...lol, people were yelling out to us that they were from towns near ours and we saw 5 people we knew!!! But being on that car, having all of those pictures taken by our own photographer, and having the meet and greet after....what an experience!!!

But there are many, many more...I think if people slow down a bit on their trips, engage with the cast members, and let their love of all things Disney shine through, you can have a million magic moments.

Our WDW trips are our favorite family memories! In 29 days, we will be back...this time at Wilderness Lodge and my birthday!!!

My dad did the same in 2010 on our Halloween trip...only he was just Walt, not frozen/ghost Walt LOL. And the CM's were gaga for him. Somebody on the boards here even had a picture of themselves posed with him. "Poor" dad could barely walk down the street without being stopper for pics or CM handshakes. It was awesome.

Little thing happened today: Got to the Frozen sing a long, and the CM had roped off too many seats in the reserved section, so he let my row take them. We were just a few rows back, dead center! Things like that never happen to me, so it was a lovely bit of pixie dust!

When my DD's were 3 and 6 we were in the toon town gift shop back in 2005. That's when Goofy and Donald, Cinderella, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty had their meet and greets in that area of the park. The characters where ending their meet and greets for the night. They came out and danced and play with the children in the shop it was amazing. This happened while most where watching the fireworks.

This is more of a funny moment than a magical one...

We were there for my sister's 6th birthday and she was getting an autograph from Dale (this was when characters used to walk around the parks) and told him that it was her bday and she was 6 years old now. He couldn't talk so he put up 6 fingers. 4 on one hand and 2 on the other. She couldn't understand why it wasn't 5 fingers on one hand and 1 on the other. But that was the only way Dale could do it because his costume only had 4 fingers. The whole conversation lasted about 5 minutes, and she never quite got the concept. We have watched the videotape probably thousands of times.

A day or 2 later she went up to Dale for an autograph in a different part of Epcot and the Dale must have been the same one because he recognized her and took her autograph book, flipping through it until he found the autograph he had done a couple days ago and point it out to her.

I was in high school and went to Hollywood Studios with my two best friends... we went up to Rockin Roller Coaster and there was no line right at the front where the chains go back and forth...so we stepped over the first set of chains (again, not cutting anyone, just saving time)and went to where the line started. ...And suddenly a CM came up to us, yelling "GIRLS! Why aren't you walking around and up and down each aisle?" And we were so embarrassed, blubbering all over ourselves apologizing, saying we were just trying to save time. She said "Come with me, now." Uhhh okay. We thought we were in trouble! She took us through a back door, up a few flights of stairs, opened a door and said "This route is much faster. Enjoy your ride." And we got to skip the line and got the first seats. It was definitely a magical moment.

I've posted this before but my magic moment, the one that has me being such a fan of Disney World goes way back to 1977 and my family's first trip there. I was 15 and very much my father's daughter. We went with lots of family and each one had a campsite at Fort Wilderness. My family camped at least once a month for just a weekend and when we went on our annual two week summer vacation, we camped all over the country. My dad was the planner and picked all the campsites. My dad was also not a warm and fuzzy guy, he was practical and worked hard to provide for us. These were his vacations and trips so he looked for good places each and every time. He never said any place was special.

We spent a week at Fort Wilderness and only Magic Kingdom, River Country, and Discovery Island were open at this time. Our first day (we arrived around 11 AM), we checked into the campground, got our site set up, had lunch and then my father said we were going to go over to Magic Kingdom "just to look around" (these were the days of the ticket books). We would only stay until supper time and then come back to the site because "Disney World is expensive and we are not eating there". We left around 2 in the afternoon. And got back somewhere after 2 AM. My dad bought us two ticket books, we ate at Columbia Harbor House, we saw the fireworks, we did so much. But that's not even the best thing. The last day there, my dad, after packing up the site, standing in the middle of the road, hands in his back pockets and just looking around saying, "This is the neatest place ever". He had never said that about any other place we had visited in all the places we went (at that time, I had visited about 35 of our 50 states).

My dad passed away last year at the age of 84. On our last trip to Disney World with him, he still marveled about how "neat" it was.

Oh my gosh there are soooo many! But, my very favorite happened on October 2, 2008. We were getting off pirates at 12:08pm...row #3, there were about 3 cast members standing there with a laptop saying we had been chosen for a special year of a million dreams prize...I started screaming and crying hysterically when they said we were staying the night in Cinderella's Castle!!! I called my husband and told him to leave work right away and go home to pack a bag, we had to be at the GF at 4pm to be escorted back to the MK. A car came and took us all (7 of us!) to the MK, had a photo session on Main Street then went up to the suite...Amazing!!! Dinner in the castle, MMSSHP that night with a VIP guide to take us to the front of the lines, and then watched the fireworks from the rose garden. It all seems like a dream. By far the best day EVER! But my favorite part was getting up early in the morning and walking out onto Main Street with no one there...it was beautiful!
