Good morning everyone!
Yesterday was amazing!
Josh and I started off with a wrong turn... Eventually we figured it out, but we went 5 miles out of the way first. Which made us about 10 minutes late.
Josh and I walked into The Cheesecake Factory, and everyone was there waiting for us... Squeals and hugs all around! I was so excited to see everyone!
We were seated almost immediately... Josh was such a good sport, seated in the middle of all these women. Lol
We all chatted and ordered. Oopsi brought gifts... Cute Disney post cards for all of us... I didn't get pictures. Mine are Donald themed, Ariana's were Pluto themed, and I don't remember what Liddy's were???
I know Oopsi took food porn pictures... But I was slacking. I'd ordered salmon with asparagus... It was very good, but not as good as fil's the night before. I just had to splurge on a piece of cheesecake though... The waitress chose turtle flavor for me. And boy was it yummy! However, I didn't take a picture until after I'd had a bite or two... :whistle:
After a fun lunch, we decided to hit The
Disney Store... As usual, I couldn't find anything I wanted... Connie did find a little something though, I think she was the only one to make a purchase. Josh was kind enough to be our official photographer...
Then we wandered the mall, losing Josh frequently... So we were relegated to taking selfies...
Eventually, we found Josh again (and lost him... Then we found him... Etc...) - he thought we should all cram into a photo booth... So we did.
Before we knew it, it was time to say goodbye.
I just love my Dis friends, and I hate saying goodbye to them. Staying with Mo and doing this Dismeet, was definitely a highlight of our trip. Josh and I are even talking about coming back next summer, with the girls and mm.

After our Dismeet, we went back to the house... I messed around on Fb for a while, then I took a nap.
Josh's dad took us out for dinner at Calhoun's... It was soooo delicious! I had a smoked chicken dish with a side of broccoli and cinnamon apples. Josh ordered a slice of Jack Daniels pecan pie... Which I took a few bites of.... WOW!!!! Mmmm, it was divine!
Looking at the above photo, I am beginning to wonder if I don't fit in with my in-laws better than I thought... We are a bit fun and eccentric. Lol
Today, Josh and I are taking the Turbo Bug on a drive... We are going to do a short trip into the mountains, and we are also hoping to see some historic places. There is a really cool looking historical home tour that I would adore going on, but they are all closed Monday/Tuesdays, and we leave tomorrow. Fil said we must plan another trip next summer, and we will make it into a Civil War tour... I've always been fascinated with that time period. We will see... It would be fun.
