September - October/HHN Let's meet up !

If you are going to the darkside in September/October and want to put a face to a screen name you have seen in the forums, join in on this thread.

Everyone is invited.
First time poster, lurker, regular park attendees, locals, etc, this is the place to get to know each other and join in and do a meet and greet during your vacation.

It is a nice way to meet the people "inside the box" you have talked with or followed.

Meet some of the homies for a few minutes, introduce your family, or do a few rides with them, or chat for a bit.
In past years I have been able to visit for 30 minutes with some while others just a couple of minutes as most of us are with families and have an agenda to keep.

The next box will be held so I can place each screen name and dates at the parks.
Nice to have one location to compare your dates with those that will be at the parks when you will be.



When the HHN website goes live with the sale of tickets, I will set up a thread for that event to meet with others.
Keeping both thread topics separate as there are people that go in October and bypass hhn.
many meet ups end up being held in the holding sections in the park prior to hhn release.

In the world of Mac, I call Disneyworld the Motherland.
I see it as the place where everything started from.
kind of like the americans breaking away from the motherland/England years ago.......
and for UO, I refer it to the darkside as it is the unknown place for many.......lol

My name is Ann, my daughter is Christine Ann! Our group of six will be at the Darkside from 10/8 to 10/10 staying at RPR, hopefully doing HHN on 10/9. We move to the Motherland on 10/10 at OKW. My son and his girlfriend leave on 10/13. My daughter and our friend leave on 10/15. Hubby and I will stay through 10/20 at OKW and move to SSR from 10/20 to 10/22. We expect to go back to another HHN maybe 10/19 or 10/20.

We're still in the planning stages so these dates might change. But- as of right now, I have Universal down for Oct 7th and the 9th. (The 7th likely won't change as there's an educational class two people in our family are planning on attending). That leaves Disney for Oct 2-6, Oct 8, 10. No HHN for us though as the kids aren't ready for it.
