Ok, so, as you can see from my little ticker i'm off to DLP again soon.
I am slightly worried about going on the bigger rides, i'm a big girl (size 22-24) and 5ft4. I'm worried i'll be too 'pooh shapped' for the restraints and wondered if anyone could shed any light on things?

We visted last year but i didnt go on anything but the childs rides with my boys, i'd like my husband and i to be able to take advantage of having his mother with us this time to watch the children whilst we have some fun!

Thanks in advance guys x :flower3:

dont worry about it, you are certainly not alone. the only ride i have heard about being a bit of a squeeze is crushes coaster.

they only ride i think pooh shaped people have had problems with is crusher coaster as they are bucket shaped seats. I am pooh shaped and i have been on all the fast rides in paris, apart from crushes coaster *** there is always a huge que, maybe hang around by the exit and have a look at the people coming off. So try not to worry as i am sure you will be fine :goodvibes

The cars ride also might be a bit of a squeeze if you are sharing with another person, so I'd recommend you go on a seat on your own to be a bit more comfortable.

Don't worry, I have seen lots of people on rides bigger than you - have a great time. :goodvibes

I am also pooh shaped although gradually hoping to get to an Eeyore size!! It won't ever be piglet!!:rotfl:

As others have said Crush's coaster might be a squeeze depending on the distribution of ones middle, as the restraint comes up between your legs and then comes to rest on the front of your tummy.

If you like the tea cups it is usually advisable for you to get in the ride first as it can seem a little small the door to get into, and then others pile in around you!! Cars are someone else has posted, you might want the seat to yourself.

All the other coasters I have had no problems with, Rock n roller and Indian Jones is an over head harness that clicks in place, have not been on Space Mountain, BTM is a pull down lap bar and Star tours, if you pull the seat belt right out before sitting it will be easy for you to fix into the restraint.

Have a wicked time, and don't worry about it, there are lots of pooh sized people wandering around Disney having a blast!:wizard:

Thank you all so much :flower3:

I managed fine last year on the tea cups and cars (managed to share a seat on cars with my DS!) :cool1:

I really appreciate you all taking the time to answer, hopefully i'll be brave enough to give things a go and won't get kicked off for being too chunky :rotfl: :worship:

my best friend is the same size as you, and has been on all the rides with no issues :) I hope you have a fab time :)
