We had the BEST time on our entire honeymoon.
At Hoop-Dee-Doo Review we were upgraded from our category 3 seats to front row center table where they played with us a little when they asked about special occasions in the restaurant. The view was fantastic and as it was the last show of the night they went a little crazier than I thought they might have been for earlier shows, scolding my husband for looking at the girls legs during the can-can section
Everywhere we went, every cast member we saw congratulated us. At one point I was in DHS away from DH for a moment and calling my sister to figure out where to meet her as we were all having lunch together. During our 5 minute phone call I kept saying "Thanks" over and over, she finally asked me what was happening and I said, "everyone I pass is congratulating me" I wasn't even with my husband!
At Tren-D I was wanting to buy a Dooney for my honeymoon and DH and I went in to look at the bags, I was deciding between a Princess bag or a sketch satchel and I wanted to see them in person. When the cast members at the counter saw our just married pins they asked when we were married, when I said last week at the YC they were so excited they wanted to know all about the wedding and how we had planned it... they were thrilled!
Lots of guest stopped us to tell us how they too had honeymooned at WDW however many years ago and to congratulate us and wish us well. That was lots of fun as well.
On our last waterpark day we returned our rental car only to find out that the desk wasn't manned even though they were supposed to be open and even though we had called and asked they had no one to drive us to Blizzard Beach
When someone finally showed up we dropped off the car and took a cab to BB. The day was a little dreary and rainy but we had booked a cabana for the day and already pre-paid so we were going! We rode most of the major slides and were climing to the top of one of the double slides when I kicked a concrete stair on our way to the top and broke one of my toes
We rode the slide down and I went to first-aid to have it taped up and the DH rode a few more slides and I sat under our umbrella and read for a bit but I was cold and miserable and we left without really getting our money's worth out of the cabana just after lunch. Our cabana attendants were much less attendant than the one at TL the week before.
We had dinner at Les Chef De France so after a bit of a rest and some more medical tape we headed off to Epcot at a pretty slow pace for dinner. The food was amazing and so was the service. The only downside to the meal was when I tried to look out the window, hit my head on a bar accross it and burst into tears for no apparent reason out of shear frustration for my own clumsiness that day!
I spent the rest of the trip limping a bit but we still had lunch with an imagineer the next day so we headed off to the parks.
We had saved our limo to take us to the airport and the driver arrived on time to help us to the car with our luggage and have breakfast at Chef Mickey's before our sad flight home.
The last night on our way out of the parks we got on a resort bus with a mother and 2 kids who had lost her husband in the crowd at the bus stop and ended up on a bus without him and their 3rd child. As Dh and I each had the pre-paid cells we had bought and both still had minutes on them we gave them to the family (as they were fellow Canadians who hadn't brought their due to roaming fees) so that they would be able to comunicate easier in the parks.
At Chef Mickey's we had a last picture taken of us while we waited for our table and DH and I are 90% sure the woman who took the picture of us was the mom from the night before with our cell phones!
