sales tax

Is there a sales tax on food at grocery stores? We are staying at the sheraton vistana resort in september. Thanks

If I remember correctly, FL only has a sale tax on non food items in the grocery stores. I'm pretty sure that's a state thing and not just a county thing. I've lived in 3 different counties since I've been in FL and neither have charged me tax on food.

If I'm mistaken, I'm sure one of my FL ressies will speak up.
