Hi all, I did search this subject and came up empty handed:confused3 So here's my question....has anyone stayed in an RV park near Disneyland?? We are planning a trip for our son's 5th birthday next June and need to make reservations for a 5th wheel 30 ft. Any ideas?? Thanks for your info in advance:worship:

People were just mentioning a couple RV places, in response to my wondering where to tent camp near Disneyland (I know that sounds funny, LOL). I'll try to find that post, unless they come in and mention them again.

But in the meantime, my in laws stayed at Orangeland a few years ago.

Didn't find the post, but google showed me one: http://www.anaheimharborrvpark.com/

And the other mentioned to me (remember these were suggestions for tent camping, BUT I'm sure they would be better for RVs) was: http://www.anaheimrvvillage.com/

I am staying at this one tomorrow and tent camping. It is definately more geared to the RV traveler. I will do a review when we get back and let everyone know how it is!

I have stayed at this one probably about 10yrs ago and it was okay. Nothing special mainly just a place to park the RV and that is about it and the pool. Nothing fancy and it was older back then.

Wow... I dodn't know there were still people in this world that could afford to drive RV's! I can barely afford to drive a moped :moped:

I guess you have to weigh out gas vs hotel cost:confused3 We are only 6 hrs from there and figure we would save money by eating in the RV...and we just bought it so now we have to use it:yay: Thanks for all the info:thumbsup2

I don't have much helpful info but I wanted to share that when I was 7 my family and my cousins all went to Disbeyland, Knott's Berry Farm, San Diego zoo, wild country safari and Magic Mountain and we all stayed in a rented RV. THat trip still stands out in my mind. Have a blast!

We have reserved a spot at Anaheim RV Village in November. We have never stayed in any of the RV parks in the area. I went on MSN maps and looked at the satellite photos of each of the parks in the area. Anaheim RV Village was being renovated at the time and there is not anyone there, but you can get an idea of what they look like.

We ususally stay at GC, and we are a bit nervous not to be right in the action. However, to save over $1500 (anticipating fall AP rates) for 7 nights is worth the try. We just bought our motorhome this year and figured this would be a great way to enjoy Disney...even if we only try this once!

My parents always stay at the Anaheim Resort & RV Park. It has a free shuttle to the parks for those who want it. They frequently drive the motor home to Disneyland and park it there for the day so we can head back to the RV for meals and breaks and lose very little time to do so.

I just got back from Anaheim RV village. They do not have free shuttle service. It is 3 dollars per person and it is good for all day and they do share shuttle service with one other RV park. I did see some people walking from the RV park.

I am going to post a review thread as soon as I download my pictures!
