Since I was six years old, I've been a fan of roller coasters. I'm sure I'm not the only person here who likes coasters, and I'd like to ask what are your favorites?

Here are some of my favorites:
Expedition Everest - AK, Lake Buena Vista, FL
Rock & Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith - DHS, Lake Buena Vista, FL
Titan - 6 Flags Over Texas, Arlington, TX
Shock Wave - Six Flags Over Texas - Arlington, TX
Texas Giant - Six Flags Over Texas - Arlington, TX (I have yet to ride the refurbished version)
Batman the Ride - Six Flags Over Texas - Arlington, TX
Runaway Mine Train - Six Flags Over Texas - Arlington, TX

I'm an OLD SCHOOL roller coaster fan from WAAAAY back!! :rotfl2: Looove them but haven't travelled to many, mostly grew up on the Cyclone at Coney Island, which set the stage for my love of wooden coasters. :thumbsup2

I also love the Hulk and Dueling Dragons at Universal. None of the Disney parks have good roller coasters imho, which is one of the major reasons I don't visit them that much.

Here's my favorite lists of the one's I've rode so far. Hoping to add to the list one of these days.

1. Manta - Sea World Orlando
2. Hulk - Islands of Adventure, Orlando.
3. Dragon Challenge - Islands of Adventure, Orlando.
4. Speed - Sahara Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas. (FYI: No longer exists).
5. Rock 'N' Roller Coaster - WDW Disney Hollywood Studios
6. California Screamin' - Disney California Adventure
7. Kraken - Sea World Orlando.
8. Manta - Sea World San Diego.
9. Expedition Everest - WDW Animal Kingdom

I've rode several others, but these are the ones I like the most. Some of the one's I've ridden I found the rides to be a little rough or not as thrilling; so I didn't list them. Don't get me wrong, the ones that didn't make the list are still fun and I would ride them again, but not as often as these.

1. Millennium Force - Cedar Point
2. The Beast - Kings Island
3. Hulk - IOA
4. Gatekeeper - CP
5. Raptor - CP

I have done 6 flags more than any other park as I see you have as well. The Titan there is a great ride, but probably the best coaster park in the U .S. is Cedar Point in Ohio. As some of the other posters are listing. They have several world record breakers there.

I am well past my roller coaster prime, but back in the day my fav was the Demon at Six Flags Great America.

I will answer for DS14 - a true roller coaster lover, who got his wish come true and went to Cedar Point this summer.

Favorite - Millenium Force
Scariest - Top Thrill Dragster

I loved the Texas Giant at 6 Flags, Arlington, TX.

My favorite that always sticks in my mind is Colossus at Magic Mountain in S. Calif.

Never been to Cedar Point, its on our list of must do's

I grew up in San Jose, CA. I remember when they were building the Demon, it was my first upside down coaster. My mother was petrified of the idea and had deemed we were not to ride it, ever. When I was 12, I got my first chance to go to Great America with a friend and completely ignored Mom's instructions and road the Demon - loved it!

Grew up riding Colossus and still love it.

To me there is 2 classes of roller coasters.

1)Wood

2) Metal

There is just something about the clickity clack of wooden coasters.

1. Millennium force CP
2. Millennium force CP
3. Xcelerator Knotts
4. Gatekeeper CP
5. California screamin' DCA
6. Prowler Worlds of fun
7. millennium force CP
8. Maverick CP
9. Top Thrill Dragster CP
10. Twister II Elitch Gardens

Hope to hit a couple new parks next year, we may wait for the kids to get a little bigger though. We are going to Kings Island in a few weeks I'm excited for The Beast. Any other cant misses at KI? My favorite ride not a coaster is Maxair at CP such an awesome ride.

My favourite coaster that I have ridden is X2 at Six Flags Magic Mountain, I love 4D machines, I wish we had one here in England.

My other favourites are:
The Smiler at Alton Towers (world record holder for the most inversions - 14 in total)
Sheikra at Busch Gardens
Nemasis at Alton Towers
Tatsu at Six Flags Magic Mountain
The Swarm (especially in the backwards seats) at Thorpe Park
Xcelerator at Knotts Berry Farm

My favourite Disney coasters are Crush's Coaster at Disneyland Paris and Expedition Everest at WDW.

My current roller coaster count is 152 different coasters. I really hope one day to go to Cedar Point.

I have lots of favorites! Some that I rode this summer that I loved are:

Gatekeeper - Cedar Point
Eagle - Dollywood

Really like RnR at DHS, just wish it were longer, it's over so quickly! I really like the launch feature vs. the slowwwwwww climb up a hill.

And can't wait to ride Manta & Kracken at SW in a few days! :cool1:

I do love many of the roller coasters at Six Flags, as well. But you know, as much as I love The Giant, Shockwave, and Batman, would you believe that my favorite in that park is still Judge Roy Scream? Just something about it, I guess.

Ah Cedar Point. Excellent choice, Aviator. :thumbsup2

I love most of the coasters at 6 Flags in Dallas, but definitely NOT the Texas Giant. It was so jerky it almost tore my head off. ALthough I realize it has supposedly been fixed and refurbished, but have not checked out the new version yet.

x2 on the Texas Giant...really jerky. I didn't know they refurbished it...going to have to ride it again. :)

Oh man...let's see...

Maverick, Cedar Point
Millenium Force, Cedar Point
Gemini, Cedar Point *only wooden i've ever truly loved*
Superman, Darien Lake
Raptor, Cedar Point
Dueling Dragons, IoA

I recently rode *aka, was forced onto* Top Thrill for the first time. While I really loved it and I'm glad I finally got on, I'm not sure if I could call it a favorite yet. I'll have to ride a few more times, I think.

I can't wait to ride Gatekeeper, I've been hearing such great things. And there are so many parks I haven't been to...

My problem with TTD is that it's just too short of a ride. It's cool enough to go 120 MPH and 420 feet up, but on a crowded day in the park, there's no way we wait 1 1/2 to 2 hours for a ride that's 17 seconds long.

I forgot to add Maverick to my list as well, but I've only ridden it once so far.

The beast is way too rough for me anymore :-( Diamondback is their newest, it's smooth! New coaster coming next April!
