Roles for young nephews??????

I would like to include our nephews aged 7 & 2 in our ceremony somehow. I thought maybe they could escort our bridesmaid daughters aged 9 & 3 down the aisle or maybe have one ring each and both be ring bearers.
What do you think any ideas welcome?.........

Have two ring bearers is a good idea! You could also have them pass out programs before the ceremony or be candlelighters (well the 7 year old could do these things and the 2 year old could be the ring bearer). Me and my fiance have lots of little girl cousins so I think I'm going to have them be "candlelighters".

We had actually had three ring bearers (5,5,& 2) ...of course the 2yr old only made it down the isle but not up to the alter .....and dont worry about the ring, the bestman normally has it anyway and the pillow can be just for show

Yes our best man will have the rings - our ringbearer will be carrying a pillow with two fake rings attached to it. My mom found some woman on ebay who makes custom pillows (mine has a little castle statue standing in the middle of it) and the fake rings were part of the design - we even got to choose if we wanted them to be gold or silver.

And I think 2 ringbearers will be very cute!

another idea is to have them announce the bride with bells. i forgot where i saw it -- most likely a bridezilla show. :) but she had two little ones go down the ailse after the bridesmaids but before the bride with hand bells. ringing them will saying "the bride is coming, the bride is coming." i'm sure you can have them walk down before bridesmaids if you wanted to.

i suggested this to a friend who also had two young ones she wanted to include in the wedding but didn't know what to do with them because she had ring bearers and flowergirls already. it was very cute.

You may have trouble persuading the 2 year old to walk down the aisle - I have a friend who had the older ring bearer pull the little one in a wagon decorated with ribbons in the wedding colors.

I really like the idea of having the boys walk with your flower girls. I would put the 3 year old FG with the older boy and the 2year old RB with they older girl. I think it would be adorable.

Just a little update...
Have decided to have the boys escort our girls & be ring bearers.

When we asked the older nephew he whooped and exclaimed that he would love to be the best man :rotfl2: Marc & my bros faces were a picture!!!!

I think passing out programs or paper cones with rose petals, or an envelope of tissues.. I think these are great roles before the ceremony starts then they can be ring bearers

How long is your train? Maybe they can be train attendants for your dress????? (Think Princess Diana!)

My dress hardly has a train. It is very sleek fitting. I do have a fairly long veil though. :bride:
