I would like to start by thanking you all from the bottom of my heart. Your advice and answers to my many questions over the years has allowed me to finally get to a point that I can post our purchase on this board. Thank you!

That being said, here is our contract:

krazy4crusing---$83--$16,600 200- SSR- Aug-18/14, 200/15, 200/16, 200/17- seller pays all dues for 2014 and 2015 buyer pays closing sent October 2nd waiting...
Good luck :)!!!

After looking at the data on the first page of this thread, it seems the longer it takes ... the better chance of ROFR being exercised. I'm on day 18. Fingers crossed!
There is no rhyme or reason to it, honestly. It used to be the full 30 days up until last month and then they turbocharged it all across the board, but not for everyone. I wouldn't worry :).

$80-$16,000 200-SSR Oct 145/15, 200/16, buyer pays dues for remaining 2015 points and 2016 points and closing costs sent 10/12
Good luck :)!

By the way, I added an estimated amount for your total, as that's supposed to include your CC and all MFs you are paying.

lolakat---$105-BCV- 50- Sept- 0/15, 50/16, 50/17- sent Oct 13, Seller pays '15 MF, Buyer starts paying MF for '16, buyer pays closing cost which is $425. Buyer also pays $195 administrative fee to listing agent.
This contract was listed at $100. I put in offer of $105 and it was accepted. I'm excited to get a small add on that we just want to use for our weekend trip to F+W at BCV each year. I had called DVC to add on directly since it is a small number of points but was told the waiting list for BCV is closed. Turns out better for me since this is a much better price and fits our needs perfectly. Keeping our fingers crossed for a smooth ROFR!
Good luck :)!

You offered more than the listing price...?

jbinder95---$76-$17,100-225-AKV-Oct-0/'15, 5/'16, 225/'17 - Sent 9/24, PASSED 10/14

Just got the email from our broker! Woohoo! The email it will go to title company for closing. They will order the estoppel (whatever that is lol) then they will prepare the closing documents. It says to expect them in 4-6 weeks. Is that pretty standard? Does it normally take that long? Sorry I'm new to all this! Thanks!

waggles02673----$54-$16200-300-VB-Dec-128/'15, 300/'16 - Sent 9/16 TAKEN 10/14

Kind of had a feeling that it was going to be taken. Don't think I will try again anytime soon we already own direct through DVC at BLT.

Always wanted to make my first post the "ROFR Passed!" post for our first contract:

EricInPA---$85-$9775-115-SSR-Jun-15/'14, 11/'15, 115/'16, 115/'17- sent 9/25, passed 10/14

Buyer pays closing and dues for '16(didn't include that number in the total cost), seller pays dues on points from '14 and '15. And the obligatory...on to estoppel :teeth:

Edit: Looks like they just got through another batch, best of luck to those still waiting

The email you got is a "canned" email and although there are some contracts getting closed earlier than others, the 4-6 weeks on average is still fairly accurate, but an estimate none the less. The previous poster's experience of receiving closing docs in 7 days is not standard in the current environment. FWIW, estoppels are actually freely flowing from Disney at the moment, unlike this Spring and most of the Summer, and the hold up lately is with some of the Title companies not being able to complete the closings quick enough due to backlog. I passed ROFR with two contracts on 9-18 and 9-30 and the Title company currently has my estoppel certificates but I still don't have any closing docs and it appears I'm at least 2 weeks out from getting them.
