Rides closing early?

Park hours are 8 AM to midnight at Disneyland. Rise of the Resistance has been closing at 9 PM for a while now. Noticed today that Pirates of the Caribbean closed at 8 PM. Is this a new normal?

Rise has always closed before park closing since it opened almost 3 years ago. Pirates closing early is not normal.

Rise has never gone through park closing.

POTC was likely down and potentially could not be brought back online that night. It typically operates until park closing.

Late last night, there was a sign saying POTC was closing at 8:30 pm and a cast member letting everyone know that the ride was closed for the evening.

Ya pirates is not typical. Our trip a couple weeks ago we got on pirates at 11:55. If was our last ride of the night. Maybe blue bayou was having a special event.
