    Hi guys:sunny:

I am nervous about the rides at Universal...I am 5'4" 190 lbs- I have heard the rides are a bit snug... I have posted in a couple of the other forums but haven't had a boatload of responses. There is also someone a bit larger in my party going....

I know they have test seats but in hopes of avoiding embarrassment, I can be prepared!!

I have lost about 35 lbs and feel great but that self esteem problem always seems to get me worrying:(

Any experiences would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

    Many hugs,

Lisa, you will not have any problems with the rides at Universal. I'm 5'5" and weigh more than you and I don't have any problems fitting in any of them. Okay, it was a tight squeeze when me and my best friend decided to go on the children's roller coasters....ahem, but we fit and we're both bigger than you! There are people much, much bigger than you or me that go on the rides there without a problem. Some of the rides, I think The Hulk, The Mummy and Dueling Dragons all have test seats outside the ride so you can check and see if you are comfortable. You don't say how big the other person in your party is but you, yourself won't have any issues. :)

If you are still concerned, they have a modified seat for those with bigger bodies.

I BELIEVE they are in rows 3 and 6 on both Dueling Dragons and Hulk.

Ask about it on the Universal board. I know they're there, I just don't remember the row numbers! :)

And I have a friend who is 5'11" (maybe taller) and slightly over 300# who fit on them.

You've got NOTHIN' to worry about! :)

I went a couple of months ago at 5'3 and about 205LBS. I tend to be a little top heavy. I had no problem fitting on anything. I was concerned about the Mummy ride, but fit fine. I must say that this is an awkward feeling seat and restraint. But I fit without a problem, and you should too.

On the test seats outside. I felt very funny trying them. Most of the time little kids were playing in them, so I was hesitant to try these seats. However, I did try them them and realized that it is not a big deal. No one is really watching what you are doing.
