Hi.
Just a thought. I work with children as a reading specialist. Not a tremendously high-paying profession. With 4 children, we are careful about where our money goes. We bought into DVC because with 4 children, we do not fit into a regular room, and with the promotional offering years ago, we were able to do a small number of points. That having been said, I ran into one of my students yesterday, and he asked about my summer. I asked about his, and he told me that he had wanted to go to WDW, but his mom told him you could only go if you had cancer or were dying. It hit me HARD that I take for granted my opportuity to share such a special place as WDW with my family, while there are so many other children who will NEVER get to go. While I was reading here about spending a lot of money on a room, it occurred to me that we maybe should all be so thankful that we can go at all, and not begin to question other folks motives or how they choose to spend their money. I'm sorry. I do not usually get on a soap-box...I just came home and cried after I spoke to my little guy. How blessed we are, andhow little I appreciate it sometimes! Take care, you all!
