Reservation for a split stay

Upon checking the disney website, I found availability for the dates I'm interested in. Now that the rates are down, I'm interested in splitting my stay. 7 nites at POP, and, just to spoil DD a little more 3 nites at AKL SV. Would I have to make 2 reservations on line? Would I do better just to call. HELP!!!(please)This is the 4th time I've changed this trip. I'm driving myself CRAZY

I think you will need two reservations regardless of where you book. I just booked a split stay by phone. I have two ressie numbers and need to make a deposit on each resort.
