Just wondering what the down payment is for booking in advance.

do you buy the travel insurace also with at the time of booking and what does that run in addition to the 250 per person? And I am assuming that with the insurace all is refundable?

First, off the deposit is $200 for 3 and 4 night cruises, $250 for 7 nighters, and $350 for 10 nights or longer ... all of these are in categories 4 - 12 ... if you book cat 1 - 3 the deposit is higher and in some cases nonrefundable.

As for the insurance, if you buy insurance at the time you put down the deposit in some instances that gets you extras (like the pre-existing condition exclusion is waived).

Insurance is NOT refundable.

I am assuming that with the insurace all is refundable?

Not necessarily. All (except the insurance premium) is refundable if the reason you cancel is a covered reason. Make sure you are completely clear on what the insurance will and will not cover.
