Renting car from Sanford, FL airport and dropping at the Port

This airport is not as big as MCO so just wandering if it's easy to find a rental car even if it's late in the night.

Also, is it easy to drop a car to Port Canaveral and renting again after the cruise? How about Tampa Bay, FL airport?

Just finding ways to find cheaper airfare!

Tampa airport is probably a good two hours away (with no traffic) but a huge airport

You could probably check the airport website or maybe travelocity or maybe directly rental car company at Sanford to check hours.

How late are you talking? Our flight in March was delayed 4 hrs. Putting us in after midnight. Dollar assured us that they stayed until last flights arrived. Not!! But... Budget, National, Enterprise and Hertz, all had workers there waiting for late arrivals. We have always done 1 way rentals out of Sanford and dropped/picked up at Port Canaveral, with no problems. They all have shuttles to and from the Port.
