Renting boats at the Marinas

Quick question. My girlfriend and I are going down for 3 days and will do Universal for two, with one day just to check out the different Disney Resorts. I really want to rent one of the boats. Do you have to be a resort guest to rent from the marinas? Thanks!

No you do not have to be resort guests. Just check in with security at the gate and have your ID ready. Have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
