There are only 5 2BR lock-offs in club level (each can also be a separate studio and 1BR), one of which is HA. They are the only rooms, along with the concierge lounge, which are on the sixth floor of Jambo, which floor exists only directly above the lobby (the rest of the resort rises only to the 5th floor). You get concierge services with them and also get daily cleaning service. Three of the 2BR lock-offs, including the HA unit, face the very end of Sunset savanna and views are partially blocked by roof overhangs along the balconies. The other two face the pool with like overhang issues. You cannot request locaiton, which is luck of the draw. As a result, if what you want is a good savanna view room you should opt instead for a room in the savanna view booking category.
Getting a club level room can be a real battle. Owners at AKV can begin reserving up to 7 nights 11 months from date of arrival. They can do it online starting at 8 a.m. eastern and by phone beginning at 9. Very often, the studios (and as a result also the 2BRs) are closed out for a date quickly after 8 a.m. 11 months out from a date. Often they are filled even before the 11 month window opens by members with start dates just a little earlier than yours who book up to 7 nights. It is difficult to find an owner that will make that reservation for a rental. However, 1BRs tend to stay open longer, and it may be possible for a renter to get one of those, although you still need to reserve well in advance.
DVC has no other club level rooms at any DVC resort.
