We are staying at the Fort for the first time in February. My husband and I both love having the mugs. We fill them up in the morning on our way to the parks. Do they sell them and can you fill the at the Fort?

Yes, they have them at the Meadow Trading Post and at the Take Out Section of Trials End Restaurant. They are the blue generic ones they use at all the resorts and you get to use them the length of your stay. Enjoy!

The only location to get soft drinks (soda, pop, whatever you call it) is at Trails End. The Meadow Trading Post only has coffee, tea and hot cocoa, (as does Trails End in addition to the soft drinks). The mugs themselves are not sold at the trading post- just at Trails End.

Then that must have changed because I got my mug there last month. Sorry about that.

Whoops! I bought my last mug sometime in February, 2008, and at that time, and all the times before that, they were only available at Trails End. So, if you bought one at the Meadow Trading Post last month, then I am the one who is wrong, and I apologize. Still no soft drinks there, that hasn't changed.

No apology necessary. Maybe it was just a fluke. You can also get the mugs at the snack bar at the pool and get soft drinks there. Normally I hit on things that don't normally happen.

Just another "warning" about the cocoa at Meadows. The sign at the drink station says that cocoa is not included with the mugs. Most CM's turn their heads if you get cocoa, but there are a few "cocoa nazi's" that work at Meadow...and by God... they WILL inforce the "cocoa law"!

Just another warning - the otters told me there was free beer at TE. They lied - it's free for them because they steal it!

Silly Al, the otters don't even use the mugs. They just belly up to the drink machine and open their mouths! :sad2:
