What is the quickest way from the Grand Floridian to WL? Should we just take our van?

Van would probably be quickest. If you use Disney transportation, take the monorail to the CR and then the boat to the WL. We did it in December. Allow 30-40 minutes or so total.

We just got back and if you time the boat to Contemporary right and then monorail to GF, we were lucky enough to only have it take us 20 to 25 minutes. But all in the timeing that you have for both.

As enjoyable as it can be to take Disney transportation from one place to another (especially the various boats and monorail, where available), there is no question that the quickest way from any one resort to any other resort (expect those resorts that are connected) is going ot be driving your own car. It's not as "magical," but it is efficient.

Thanks, everyone! We were thinking of going to the AK. Then, back to the GF to clean up and to the WL for dinner. We'll probably take our van to save time since we'll be coming from AK. Thanks again.

Okay...Take the monorail to the TTC...Change to the Epcot monorail, walk to the International Gateway and take the boat to MGM. Take the bus to the Poly. Walk to the TTC and take the bus to Downtown Disney. Catch a cab to Pleasure Island, then get on a bus to the Contemporary. Take the boat to Fort Wilderness, then get on the CROCKETT bus to the TTC...almost there...Go back to the Poly and rent a mouse boat. Drive that the Grand Floridian. Get in your van and drive over to the WL. Total trip time: about 13 hours. ;) :lmao: Have a good trip. :teeth:
