Quick question about taking on food

My son bought one of the huge rice krispy treats at the magic kingdom today. I has not been opened yet and is completely wrapped. Can he either pack this in luggage it carry it on the boat? Didn't know the rules on this and didn't think about it until after he had bought it.

We brought on lots of food, snacks and drinks.
In fact, next time we'll be packing more for the movies /shows

We always bring our son's favorite snacks on the cruises we have never had a problem with them saying anything.

Suggest carrying it on. I'm always paranoid about food in my checked luggage 'alerting' the sniffer dogs and delaying boarding for everyone.
