Questions on 3 night cruise

We are thinking of booking a last minute sailing on Aug. 10th. Do they have the pirate party on the 3 night? And do most passengers dress up? Also what productions are shown now. It has been 3 years since we sailed on Disney. Are planning this, so my sons can see the Flying Dutchman. Not sure how much longer it will be there and they are huge fans of Pirates of the Carribean!
Thanks for your responses.

They have a pirate deck party on every DCL cruise. The 3 night does not have the pirate menu in the dining rooms. The shows are Hercules, Dreams, & Golden Mickeys. More guests dress up on the 7 night cruises from reports. You can find recent navigators linked in the FAQ thread at the top of this forum to see more events that will be happening on that cruise.

The party is great. but we did find that most people did not dress up on the 3 day where on the 7 day tons of people dressed up. mostly we saw kids with bandanas and eye patches on, a few in complete outfits, but not much.

We'll be going on the 4 day next year :sad2: . No 7 days during the summer. Very sad for us. ANYHOO. We'll be dusting off the pirate gear matey. Trying to convince dh to do a back to back cruise so it adds up to 7. Wish me luck.

On the 3nt the Pirate Party is on Friday night and we were just on it in June and only saw 1 family dressed up on Pirate night but did see lots of people at the pirate party wearing the bandanas that they were given at dinner. As far as formal attire we didn't really see anyone dressed up at alot at dinner. They say that Saturnight is semi-formal but saw that most people didn't dress up. Those that we saw dressed up were women wearing cocktail type dresses but most men were either wearing jeans or docker type pants.
