Questions for Disney Travelocity Users

Well, I jumped on the bandwagon and booked my October stay on Travelocity yesterday afternoon by going through Ebates and using the HOT13 code. (Saved about $138. Woohoo!) I can already see my Ebates cash back pending and my reservation on the Disney website, so it looks like so far, so good.

I have never used Travelocity before, though, so I have a few questions for those of you that have...

1.) Since my confirmation code from my Travelocity email seems to be my Disney reservation number, can I call Disney now to add room requests or do I need to wait until closer to check in?

2.) I need to add my infant to the ressie. (I booked online, and I could do 2A + 2C, but not 2A + 2C +1 infant.) Do I call Travelocity to do that? Disney? Wait and do it at check in? I know she doesn't really need a KTTW, but I just feel weird not including her in the room count.

3.) If I need to drop a day from my ressie later on, will the rate on my other days remain the same or would I lose the promo code discount? I emailed this question to Travelocity's Customer Care yesterday and received a reply that they can't change ressies by email. :confused3

Thanks in advance for your help!!!

How were you able to see the reservation on the Disney website? I'm still trying to make that happen with mine.

Yes... I am wondering this exact same thing! I booked through Travelocity yesterday for our October stay as well, and have no idea how to get the reservation to link to MDE. Wondering how OP made this happen...

I did two things. (May have been able to skip the first step, but not sure. I saw it mentioned in an old post, so I gave it a shot.) First, I went to
https://secure.reservations.disney....al_Default_Page&process=false&pageRender=true

and answered that I booked through a group or convention. The next page asked for my info. I used the confirmation number (not the Travelocity Trip ID) found on the travel confirmation email from Travelocity right above the name of the resort. My ressie came right up.

Just out of curiousity, I then went directly to the Disney website and used the Link a Resort Reservation option under My Disney Experience. My ressie pulled up there, too. It allowed me to add the names of my travel party and I'll be able to do online check in at 60 days out.

Hope that helps!

Strange. I tried that earlier and it didn't work but I did it again using your link and it shows up. Thanks!

Ok, now I'm freaking... :worried:

It seems to work for everyone else, but when I used your link and mine is not working... getting this message:

"The information provided does not match our records. Please try again or call (407) W-DISNEY or (407) 934-7639. For group reservations, please call (407) 939-4686".

UGH... go figure!!!!!! :confused3

Thanks for posting this info! I'll try it tonight. I'm still so happy about the discount I got on Travelocity. :yay:

I'm not seeing the normal 12 digit reservation that WDW gives. The hotel reservation I got from Travelocity is only 11 digits and starts 101 (Usually my WDW reservations start with a 4).

Just curious what others have entered. Thanks.

I know it will be hard, but I would wait and try it again later. I got the same message when I entered my info last night, but this morning it worked fine. It just seems to take some time to get from the Travelocity system to the Disney system.

So just called WDW since the online link option wouldn't work for me... and the CM could not link my Travelocity room only reservation because the numbers (gave her both the confirmation number & trip ID) were "not Disney numbers". So confused why mine won't work... :sad1:

Really??? Yay.... so there is hope??? Phew.... Lol.

I was seriously starting to wonder if I am going to show up at the GF and be promptly escorted away with my faux reservation number!!! Lol!!!

Yes, that 11 digit number starting with 101 is what I entered to pull up my ressie.

(And you're right, now that you mention it, it is different than a typical WDW reservation number, so I'm guessing that I will still have to call Travelocity to get the official WDW reservation number if I want to make room requests.)

Mine starts with a "101" as well... system not accepting it, and neither did the CM I just spoke with. She said it wasn't a "Disney number", so I couldn't link it... :confused3

OK ... this saving money thing is a lot of work! :rotfl2:

It sounds like there are 3 numbers associated with Disney reservations booked through Travelocity: the Travelocity Trip ID, the confirmation number (seems to start with 101 and is what I used to pull up my ressie on the Disney site) and the Disney reservation number. Anyone had success getting that last one yet? Did you call Travelocity for it? I'm guessing that that is the number I will need to make room requests and maybe to add my youngest (infant) DD to the ressie.

I'm on with Travelocity right now and the agent is calling WDW to put my room request in and to get my official WDW reservation.

My issue is I have one ressie booked directly with WDW (did it before they opened at 7:00 yesterday) and then saw the thread that talked about the $75 code.

Just want to make sure all is good with the Travelocity booking before I cancel the WDW one.

May have to call WDW to verify they are seeing two ressies for me as the agent at Travleocity doesn't understand me too well (needless to say it is not a US call center) and is telling me the number is the "101" number and then says it is the Confirmation Code, which is 7 characters, both numbers and letters (again, not WDW a common ressie number).

Tell me about it. On the phone with Travelocity now 35 minutes. Getting ready to cancel their reservation and just keep my WDW ressie. A lot easier to deal with WDW.

Do the same now with the Disney Cruises. The amount I was getting from transferring out didn't get me enough to not handle it myself.

Ugg. I feel for ya. That's why I asked the questions in the OP. If I can't get those things figured out quickly & painlessly, I'd rather just cancel my Travelocity reservation and book through Disney while the resort I want is still available. Saving money is great, but sometimes saving my sanity is worth even more! :lmao:

YES.... Agreed!!!

I'm on hold with my second Travelocity advisor after the both WDW reservations and the direct GF reservation CM had no record of anything.

Sigh... the savings is big enough for me not to give up... well at least not yet, but I am pulling my hair out!!!! :crazy2:
