Does your cabin # ever change after you get your documents?

We've had it happen twice. The first time, the TA called us and said that DCL had offered an upgrade, did we want it? Then replied that our new cabin number would be XXXX, please cross out old cabin number on luggage tags and write in new.

The other time, we got to port and were told that we had been upgraded to cabin YYYY. That was creative, since our luggage went to the original cabin (per the tags) and then had to be moved.

So, the short answer is YES.

My daughter got her documents yesterday and she was on Cat 6 GTY status, but her booklet says category 6, with a room on deck 8 which is a cat 4. She is so excited but is afraid they may take it away from her.
