Is there a difference in regular cucumbers and pickling cucumbers other than the size? I bought pickling cucumbers by mistake and planted them before realizing I bought the wrong kind. Can I use them in salads like regular cukes?
    Thanks!

I have actually bought pickling cucumber sometimes because the plants seem a little more resistent to the wilt that cucumbers get. I think they are a bit "sweeter." I do enjoy them in a salad!

I also like the pickling cucumbers better! They're great in a salad or for dipping. You can also grow them in a container. I have really good luck with that.
