No, some windows at Pop serve breakfast until almost noon, so the dessert wasn't with the breakfast plate, but with one of our lunch plates.

It is possible to ask for two beans for side dishes at Flame Tree instead of a bean and a slaw. I imagine you could get two slaws, if one wanted too.

Yes, we ordered 2 slaws and no beans in May.

Thanks for sticking around, sorry for the long delay in posting an update. I don't get much computer time as it's summer break and the teenagers seem to need to be on it 24/7.

So we left off with breakfast on Main St For lunch we knew we were going to Columbia Harbor House. I had been anticipating this lunch, I couldn't wait to try the lobster roll!!

I ordered the lobster roll

Unfortunately, it was not any good the bread was stale and chewy, there was an overload of mayo, it just was gross. Most of it went in the trash. Lesson learned.

Both kids ordered the fish/chicken combo

They seemed to like it, they ate most of what was there. I had a little nibble of the fish and it was quite good, IMO

Dessert was 3 of these chocolate cakes

I think we actually threw them in the bag. We love chocolate and love cake but one can only handle so much of these things lol

While waiting for the afternoon parade, we grabbed a snack from the churro cart in Frontierland- a Mickey pretzel!

How cute is this?!?! He tasted pretty darn good dipped in 'plastic cheese'

We spent the evening at Downtown Disney. I have always wanted to eat at Wolfgang Puck Express but just never made it there. So that's where we decided to go.
WPE is a counter service but a little different than most. You stand in line and order at the counter, but then they deliver your food when it's ready. So it's kind of a nice way to use a counter service credit. Not to mention the portions are huge, the food is good and well the food really is table service quality!

I decided to go with the Pennette Chicken Alfredo

Oh was it good! It was creamy and cheesy and just hit the spot!

Tristan went with the spaghetti and meatballs

Those meatballs were ginormous! lol He loved it! Ate every bit of it! I didn't try it so i'm not sure, but he is my picky eater. If he cleaned his plate, it was good!

Madi went with the mac & cheese

My goodness!!! Yummy yummy yummy! Very cheesy, but good cheesy, not yucky orange cheesy like most WDW mac!

We decided to get 3 different desserts
Cheesecake

This was just okay, really nothing special I didn't think. I love cheesecake and well, it didn't knock my socks off.

Creme brulee

Again, just ok. Better than the cheesecake.

And for the non-adventurous...a chocolate chip cookie

He finished it when we got back to the hotel. He said it was REALLY good.

I've only been to WPE once and I loved it! Hoping to make it there when we go to DTD this trip!
