There are no pictures!:scared1: I know the Horror the Shame! But I can give you good advice on how to gain weight as I gained 9 pounds in 7 days. :sad2: Actually my vacation eating started the day before we left and ended 2 days after we got home(I was in vacation bliss). Here is how it began: I vowed to eat healthy on this trip. I wont eat that many sweets. I will eat fruit and veggies. And lastly I wont eat when I'm not hungry or eat food that isn't spectacular! Well as you can tell I didn't keep my vow. I'm now paying the price once home and horrified at not keeping such vows. What is a food porn addict to do? My intentions were good but like any addict my first scent of food and I was done for!  It does balance out though right loosing weight before trip knowing of my addiction?
I thought I wouldn't take pictures this time because I took pictures on our last trip and never did the report blaming it on my lack of know how to post pictures.
Our trip was from 6/5-6/11. We were on the QSDP and stayed 1 night at pop and the rest Wilderness lodge DVC. The night at pop was with no DP. SO we had 40 credits of meals and 40 credits for snacks. There was 2 adults and 2 children ages 6 and 4.

Day 1 6/5: We had a afternoon flight from MO so didn't arrive to pop until late evening. I knew we were only staying 1 night so I had to try 1 thing from there. And that 1 thing was the one and only tye dye cheescake. It was pretty good. Nothing to write home about. It actually made feel like I was eating play dough. All the colors and the consistency. Worth a try if staying there. My dd6 liked it. She ate half of a piece that night and the rest in the am. dh could take it or leave it and dd4 didn't like it.

Day 2 6/6: This am we went to DHS. We ate at Starring Rolls. We had:
2 chocolate cholate chip muffins, 1 butterfinger cupcake, 2 bananas, 2 chocolate milks, 2 skim milks, 1 bottled water. oop total: $22.86
Cut the butterfinger cupcake into 1/4. dh ate half said it was really sweet :sick:and regreted eating it soon after stating, I wish I just ate the banana. I ate a 1/4 and it is sweet. I'm glad I tried it because I heard so much about it on here but there are other things I prefer to splurge on. I did want to eat the whole thing just because I saw it on the dis!:rotfl: I resisited the urge to keep tasting and hoping for wonderment in my mouth as some people on here say about this huge cupcake. I like the chocolate muffin way better. dd4 refused to try the butterfinger cupcake but liked muffin. dd6 ate a couple bites then left it alone then proceeded to eat just the top only of her muffin. She then was so generous to let me have the bottom. Overall I say it would be a good use of snack credits but not a must do. Side note they have packages of sushi there if looking for something different.
After we had our fill of DHS we went to check into Wilderness lodge. We were hungry and now have the QSDP. So off to Roaring Forks. We cashed in our mugs and used 2 meal credits, 1 snack credit. Dh and I shared chicken breast nuggets, fries, magic cookie bar, and chocolate milk(gave to kids). dd6 got kids pizza with grapes, apple sauce and chocolate milk. dd4 got some cheetos for snack credit. Everything was hot and yummy. Every time we got the chicken breast nuggets we were never dissapointed. The magic cookie bar I heard about on here. I was expecting something oober special but it tasted exactly like the ones I make at home. I ate it anyways....what's one little slip. dd6 ate all her food. But honestly I thought the pizza looked bad. It was fresh just looked like a frozen pizza microwaved.
Total: 2 QS 1 snack
price: $19.57
Total veggies: 0:) oh well first complete day!
Total fruit: 1:banana:
The fruit and veggie total is for me only since I'm the only one who made a vow!:cool2:....(what did I get myself into?)
Have to take a break will complete the rest of the day in a bit....

I was still on 6/6 dinner time. Before dinner the kids swam in the pool for a bit so I decided to try a pinacolova. It was pretty good. Kinda sweet but I could taste the booze in it. Only complaint is that if you did not drink fast it got that nasty melty slushie thing going on. Also if you did not stir a lot you would get surprise mouthful of alcohol. If you like sweet merry makers then this is your thing!
total: $8.00

That night for dinner we went to WGPE at DTD. We are never let down here. Dh had BBQ chicken pizza. He inhaled it all but 2 pieces so I would say he liked it. I had a piece and it was good but not piping hot. I think I let it sit to long. dd6 had a piece and she liked it as well. Surprised me! She never eats BBQ sauce. I got the Chinois chicken salad. I gave half to dh. We always get this. Tangy and crunchy with a ginger sesame taste. dd6 got spaghetti with alfredo sauce and ate it all gone. dd4 got the kids mac and cheese. O.k. dh and I loved this mac and cheese. dd4 did not. If your child is use to bright orange mac then this might not go over well. So she refused to eat. We all got fountain drinks. Then for dessert we got 2 brownies, toffee cookie, and creme brulee. Kids loved the brownies. Creme brulee was creamy a little tasteless and the top didn't have enough burnt sugar. O.k. the cookie was allright. I've had better at Disney. But you guessed it I ate it anyway. What was I thinking!?! I could have had icecream from ghirardelli! Must remember for next time.
Used: 4 credits
total if oop: $59.27

Then before we left DTD stopped by Earl of Sandwich for dd4 and bought a PBJ. The bread was warm and chewy. Looked super yummy. At first she was a little put off that it was warm and the bread looked "different". I think hunger over took and she ate half. Victory! She ate!:cheer2:
paid oop: $4.25

Totals for all day:
Credits: 6 used / 34 remaining
snacks: 1 used/ 39 remaining
o.o.p.: $35.11
If o.o.p food total: $78.84 (this does not include what I did pay o.o.p.. for)

love the reviews, sorry about the weight gain!! Maybe it was muscle from all the walking???

Thanks for sharing very intrested since we are doing the QSDP this time.

Loving your reviews! I do the same thing - vow to eat healthier then totally blow it, eery vacation. In fact, I'll be doing the exact same thing in one week when we vacation in the Smokies! I always say our kids make the weight harder to lose because we feel the need to finish what they don't, even when it's just okay, not something great. I'm looking forward to more reviews!

day 3 6/7: SO this a.m. we had ressies at bbb at M.k. for 8:30 a.m. We got there right in time and the girls loved it. We have done this once before and it was more magical the first time. The girls still really liked it but the surprise element wasn't there. The park was opened for maybe 10 minutes by the time we got done. Everything was already building a line though in fantasy land. We rode a few rides and then at 10:30 ate at Columbia Harbour House. There was no line and we got to choose anywhere to sit. It was great having no crowds. Here's what we ate:
dh: Broccoli slaw sandwich with hummus, chips, tea, and apple dumpling
me: anchors aweigh sandwich, carrot sticks, diet soda, apple dumpling
dd6: shrimp dinner, coleslaw(will not let substitute), fries, chocolate cake, sweet tea
dd4: fish and chicken, carrots, chocolate cake, chocolate milk
thoughts: The broccoli slaw sandwich was o.k. You barely taste the hummus because the broccoli was so potent. The chips were yummy crunchy chips. I mean if you do a chip bad then there has got to be something wrong. Here's my surprise. The apple dumpling. I wasn't planning on eating dessert but thought I would give it a try. Yummy. It tasted so good I ate a whole one and bagged up the other one to bring back to room. I couldn't let it go to waste. I don't know what came over me. I don't normally like fruit desserts my brain is switching to vacation mode. That means will eat anything and nothing better be thrown out!:rotfl: The tuna sandwich was good and a detour from fried food. Thankfully it was on a hearty bread because can't do mushy to well. Everything was fresh and yummy and not soggy at all one of the advantages of eating early. O.k. so I did have another slip:guilty: I was completely stuffed and continued to eat dd6 shrimp. There was no way I was throwing out shrimp. I still think shrimp is this rare expensive thing like when I was growing up. Although we eat it frequently I can't break the mindset. So when I saw that the shrimp dinner cost $9.69 I almost got it because it was only $1.60 more than tuna. But, wait couldn't get shrimp because fried =fat so got sandwich instead because tuna=healthy. Although I don't know how healthy because I think it had half a jar of mayo in it.:sad2:We took the chocolate cake back to the room for later.
I believe Columbia Harbour House is a good place to stop if you are tired of burgers!!
CS used: 4
total if paid o.o.p.: $58.23

mommy in wonderland, you sounded just like me in your introduction. I always throw the diet out the window at WDW but swear not to eat unless hungry and make fairly good choices. I always come back a few pounds less but my secret is the fact that I take a set of scales with me and that seems to kill my appetite. :lmao:

I am also with you on most of your food choices.

Looking forward to reading more, please?
