PS for week of Christmas

I called to make my PS ressies for the week of Christmas and was told that park ressies are now made 6 weeks out. I was also told no ressis # is needed. The ressies were put under my name only. Does this sound right? If my ressie is lost how do I prove that I had one in the first place?

Yeah, they don't give out ressie #'s at DL for PSs. And from what I've heard in-park PSs are 6 weeks out, while hotel restaurants are still 60 days.
