Prime Pantry on our trip in 2015. Ordered a week ahead of time. We got to the hotel around 2pm. Our room was ready. Told them about our order. We went to the parks. It was in our room when we got back that evening.
We used Prime Pantry AND Prime Now on our last trip in June 2016 as well.
Prime Pantry...ordered a week in advance. It arrived at the resort before we did by a day or two (according to the tracking on
Amazon). We arrived maybe 2pm on check in day. I asked about getting it to our room, and we went to the park. It was not in our room when we got back. I called again, it was still not delivered that night. I woke up early the next morning and was told it would be delivered that day instead, well we had our breakfast stuff in there...so the front desk got bell services to loan me a cart and I carted it myself to our room and then returned the cart on our way to the parks.
Prime Now. We had planned to take a trip to Walmart to get a few things (extra sunscreen, some drinks) and maybe go out to eat in the middle of our trip, but we just weren't feeling it that afternoon, so I did a Prime Now order. They delivered to front desk. I got notification of the delivery, then went to front desk. It took a little while for the front desk to find it, then I again had to get a cart from bell services and haul it to my room myself (there were some drinks-like cans of soda or something-so I just couldn't carry it).
This was all at AoA, so there were no extra fees associated with it. I had credits to get free delivery with Prime Pantry and it was my first time using Prime Now so I got $10 off (which I think mostly paid for the delivery and the tip), so while the prices were a little more than Target or Walmart...it was not by much and WAY cheaper than Disney.
