Pre-Opening Akershus

Has anyone eaten at Akershus for breakfast pre-park opening? I can't imagine they let you wander the park like they do at MK, but is it still a little bit cool getting in before the throngs? Are you escorted to Norway just i time or do you have time to meander some and take empty park photos?

1) No meandering.
2) You go right to Norway for the breakfast.
3) However, grabbing photos of the outside of non-populated exhibits is nice.

We had a pre park bkfast there in August and no one escorted us we took a couple of photos along the way always nice to get those pics!

we went last October (2012) and got in through the world showcase entrance from the Beach Club. They were much stricter entering than at the MK before opening and did check our adr number (which was fine but they've never bothered in the 10plus times we did this at mk). So obviously we didn't walk up past the ball but did meander through Mexico and Norway and the UK and got some beautiful pictures. Didn't see any cast members or get hurried along and could basically wander at our own (very slow) speed

We've done it twice and have some nice pictures of the empty park.

The first time we came from the CR and entered by the main gates. We were able to take pics in front of Spaceship Earth and there were some photopass photographers around. When we reached the lake a CM was standing there to direct us towards Mexico.

The second time we were staying at the BC and entered through the International Gateway. There were ropes preventing us from going over the bridge towards France and walking around that way. We were guided straight over to Mexico, but at our own pace.
