Pre cruise stay at AK Kidani question

We are staying at AK Kidani villa for one night before our cruise in February 2020 and want to ride the Skyliner for fun. We do not have park tickets and want to see Boardwalk for the first time. Will the following route work? Any alternate routes you can suggest? TIA

Take a bus to Hollywood Studios (from Kidani)
Take the Skyliner to Epcot. What is the approximate time frame for the ride?
Walk to the Boardwalk
Grab something from the bakery or the ice cream shop and look around the boardwalk (is there entertainment during the late afternoon in February?)
Take the bus from Boardwalk resort to Disney Springs.
Walk around, eat dinner, shop
Take bus or Uber back to Kidani.

Are you aware that the Skyliner doesn't go directly from Hollywood Studios to Epcot?

Yes. I believe I have to transfer at Caribbean Beach resort depot.

Good plan The Skyliner stations are all outside the entrances to the parks, so no park tickets required.

That works. Boardwalk entertainment typically doesn’t start until around 7 pm however.

My SIL just did the ride from HS to Epcot and with transferring at the CBR Station the total ride was 14 minutes.
