What do you mean that Wilson had his freedom? He hadn't been charged with anything. You can't incarcerate someone just in case they might have done something. Of course he had his freedom.

Okay, so you obviously have no idea about how deadly someone can be, even if they are unarmed. Brown was 6 foot 4 and almost 300lbs. Do you really believe that he couldn't hurt someone, even without a weapon?

This is beyond true, we had a friend killed this year by one punch. He wasn't even fighting with the guy that hit him. He was a truly innocent bystander.

As far as I am concerned, 18 is an adult. Yes still a teenager, but legally an adult.

My son turns 18 next month and is a good kid. I have mentioned to him multiple times that he will legally be an adult and all that it means. Including going to jail and not a kiddie jail if he screws up (which he has never done).

I have taught my kids to comply with any officer. If they feel that they have an officer that over stepped the bounds then they should file a complaint. They are not to attack an officer because that can lead to their death.

I have white friends that also teach this to their kids. It just isn't black people that feel they get pulled over or harassed by cops.


Also, white people are killed by cops for doing exactly what Michael Brown did.

Well, it was a little more than just a "punch in the face" and if you assault a police officer you are breaking the law. If you assault ANYONE it is a possibility that you might not win. If the criminal decides to have a fist fight with you and grabs your gun then what? You reason with them? Criminals who have no respect for authority in such a manner and would disregard the basic rules of human decency that they would physically harm them imo usually are not the most upstanding citizens who would say "Hey! I got your gun! Winner winner chicken dinner! High five! Catch ya next time!" Most likely he/she would shoot the cop or other innocent people. Of course an officer is trained to physically restrain someone but they are humans. They are not robots or the Hulk. I personally would love to see what some of the ant-police people would do if faced with a similar situation. In that millisecond would they think "OOO- let me see if I can hit them in the foot" or would they think "Holy crud this guy is going to kill me!!!"

It wasn't, it was the end result for a punch in the face, and attempted grab for the officer's weapon, and a return charge. If it had just been a punch in the face, or if he hadn't turned back around to charge the officer or hadn't tried to grab his weapon, he'd be sitting in jail or out on bail. Why do you think it was only because Officer Wilson was punched in the face yet all of the actions taken by Mike Brown after said punch don't come into consideration in the outcome?

He wans't killed for punching the officer in the face he was killed because he came at the officer again after being told to stop.
