Practice and copying???

I have just linked my tickets to MDE... is there a way I can practice booking fast passes prior to my trip. Meaning can I book as if my 60 day window is now and cancel them when mine comes up? I thought I read this somewhere.. and copying.. I will be getting FP+ for my family and my sister's.. we have linked our reservation. There will be 8 of us.. do I book each one at a time or is there a way to copy the first fast pass? If so how.... thanks so much!!!!

Choose FPs for your total group. Go to FP in MDE and you can begin practicing now - you have a 30 day window open. When you are exactly 60 days from your onsite check-in date, you'll then have a 60-day window,

I just linked my tickets as well. I have been practicing booking in the 30 day window. It is OK to "cancel" all the fastpasses if it is on a day I'm not planning on going? I know I have read here never to "cancel" only to "modify", but is that just for days you are actually planning on going?

Yes. You should always Cancel practice FPs because you would be hoarding them from guests who are actually in the parks.

Modify, never Cancel only applies to FPs for your actual park days.

I'm sorry, but I'm confused. I just booked our trip for August, so our 60 day window is a ways off. When I go to Fastpass+ from MDE it won't let me select a "party"... it says we need valid admission to select Fastpasses. Please tell me if I'm understanding correctly, 30 days from our 60-day window opening, MDE will allow me to practice? Sorry if I'm missing something simple, I'm new to Fastpass+. Thank you!!

Only the people who purchased and linked their tickets separately can practice.

You purchased a "package." At 60 days out from your check-in date, your window will open and then you can book. No practice for you because of your package.
