Posting a link without displaying the whole web address

i hope this is going to make sense...

In my signature I have links to my older trip reports before the board changed. I would click on a button and it would give me the option to add a link and then change the wording so instead of the full web address, I could type in anything I wanted to. I can't figure out how to do this since the board was updated. Is there a way?

I usually do it backwards -- type the words I want to show, then highlight those words and click on the little icon in the toolbar in the replay box for "link" and paste the address there. The little icon looks like two links of a chain.
