I finally figured out how to post a picture (I think!). Here is my contribution to the food porn ( :rotfl: ) thread:

Kids' Mickey Pancake Breakfast from Kona Cafe:

And the Big Kahuna from Kona Cafe:

I wish I had taken more food pictures!

I think the soup looks good.

I just want to say that this thread is making me so hungry, and I still have six months until my trip. : :rotfl2:

I want to go and eat everything right now. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Is that sundae at Beaches & Cream bigger then the shake?

The chocolate course at the Chef's Table at V & A's....YUMMY :)

Lo mein, cheese fries and hot fudge sundae from Pop Century food court

also from Pop...meatball sub, chili cheese fries and some kind of cake
pop2.jpg

We stayed at Pop Century during our last trip and we ended up eating almost every meal in the food court not only because it was convenient, but also because it was very good!

and that's all there is... Noooooooo! I want more pictures! LOL. Since I'm reading this thread before bed. Guess what I'm going to dream about.
Someone post more..... please!

:drinking1 :cake: :drinking1 :cake:

Oogieboogie, this seems as appropriate forum as any. I've seen the picture in your signature for a while and I've got to tell you, that soup looks nasty. I have no doubt that it tastes very good. But this one man's opinion is that your soup is not aesthetically pleasing.

I have been so tempted to post the same! It looks like brain soup to me, and everytime I see that she posts I have to scroll real fast past her signature otherwise I start to yak. Totally grosses me out =) I'm sure it's good, but I can't handle looking at it, LOL!!!!!!

Just what IS that white stuff? Looks like grey matter, ROFL!

I looked on the menu for Narcoossees for the slipper desert on allears.net
but couldn't find it..we will be dining there the last night of our WDW trip..
would love to try it--it's so pretty! when did you have it? do you know if
it a regular choice? thanks :sunny:

You can special order both of those desserts through the GF bakery, to be served at any GF restaurant (even tea or the fast food court), or room service. They are little known, and not on any menu.

We ordered slippers to have after lunch at the GF Cafe, and they were DELICIOUS and beautiful. The slippers are $14, and I think the cake is $25. You must order in advance of 48 hours or more, though i ordered mine weeks in advance.

So we have never been to WCC and don't know the tricks of the trade. From what I gather from this thread, if you keep asking for refills they bring you the giant sodas, and if you ask for ketchup they bring you a billion bottles? If so, we're in BIG trouble because DBF always gets like 4-5 refills during a meal, and I am a ketchup-a-holic who always needs ketchup for everything :) I think we need to check this place out!

Also, what is this all about?? (From allearsnet)

PLEASE Note: It has been brought to my attention that someone reprinted this list and then got very upset with their server when all of the items mentioned below were not part of their dining experience. PLEASE don't expect your server to do this entire list or even anything from the list; it is merely a recap of what has produced some interesting antics from previous guest experiences. Whispering Canyon is a themed restaurant and chances are your server may engage in some tomfoolery. But please use this only as a guide for possibly having fun and not a list of expectations! Thank you!
Wear a Hat or T-Shirt from Universal or Sea World
Ask your server where his 6-shooter is
Tell your server you spent the day at an attraction outside of WDW
Tell the server who's birthday or anniversary it is
Have your kids "egg him/her on"
Have one of the males in the group ask where the restrooms are
Challenge your server to a pistol fight and ask for a gun
Claim your straw is not long enough
Chew gum
Ask the server where you can buy some chewing gum in WDW
