Just got my AAA rates for the cabin in March from the 19-29

Weekday rates 319.50 as opposed to $355 on the disney website
Weekend Rates $333.00 as opposed to $370 on the disney webiste

The CM kept trying to tell me they werent out, but after about 5 minutes of me saying "Im pretty sure they are", he figured it out.

All in all I am saving 361 dollars pre tax. Basically a stay 9 get 1 free deal

I am not currently an AAA member but would join if it would make a big difference in price for my trip. So is AAA worth it just for Disney?????

It all depends on who you ask, personally I think it is. I joined AAA in 2005 for my 2006 trip and saved almost $500. After renewing again this year, I am still not up to that $500 savings and just saved roughly $400 dollars on next years vacation.
Then you through all the maps and tour books I have gotten and non Disney places that I have used my card to save. Well worth it in my opinion

We booked CB for 8 nights in Jan/Feb 2009 for $119 a night - today. If a deal or code comes available can I use it too (if not on rooms)? For example free hopper or dining plan. Thank you!

CSR 1/4-1/11 std: $938.77
POP 1/3 preferred: $92.76 (CSR standard wasn't available for the extra night, and water would up the entire stay by $300 - not worth it IMO).

Wooho! POFQ - waterview 5 nights Jan/09 - $783.05, that is down from my $978.75.

I wouldn't normally do waterview at this resort, but we love being ground floor next to the pool and I am hoping for that! Its worth the extra $ to me.

I just got my ressie in my email and the base rate before taxes was 139.20/night, down from the $174/per night.

Not a dumb question. The answer is no. You can book a room with an AAA discount through AAA or through WDW. SO if you've already booked a room through WDW, you can call them back and ask if you can have an AAA discount applied to that room. But you should do that today because there's a limited number of AAA discounts available - you aren't garunteed a discount just because you're an AAA member, you still have to reserve the discount before they book out all the discounted rooms.
If you do this through WDW and a better code or promotion comes out next year, you can just call them up again and switch to that code.

AKL from 11/29/09-12/6/09 Club level, savannah view. Without AAA-$2,714.00 (tax included).

With AAA -$2,041.00 (tax included). A savings of practically $700! Even the reservation specialist said that the discount is usually only 10%, so that was a great deal!

....Tried to book a room at the Contemporary for Jan 26 - Feb 1st....and no AAA rates. This was doing it at 10:30 am this morning through DU....I can't believe it Anyone get CR?

Had the same issue at Yacht Club at 8:30 am - she said there were no AAA Standard View Rooms left, but they had Water View with AAA left - 1/19 - 1/24/09 $348.50/night.

We opted for a package with the Basic Dining and we'll hope for a code.

I called and updated our resses at the Beach Club for Jan 31-Feb 7. With the AAA rates we are paying $2242.45. My parents are also going with us and after they heard how much we were saving (about $400 for the week) she wants to join. Can I call and update her resses (I have her confirmation number since I made the original ones) using my AAA number and then once she gets her number she can call back and update it? I want to make sure they don't run out of AAA rooms.
