Are there any adults that have slept on Port Orleans Riverside new pull down bunks? If so was it comfortable? Does anyone know the measurements of it? Width and length. Any answers would be most greatly appreciated :thanks:

I can't imagine an adult being comfortable on it. I don't know exact measurements, but it's not as big as a twin bed. It's ideally suited for a child.

It would have to be a very small adult.

This is DS5 and DS4 sitting on it to kind of give you reference. IMG_4745.jpg

It's the size of a crib mattress and it's meant for kids about 12 and younger. It's also suspended, so an adult would surely hang off of it. It's not as easy for an adult to get away with like the trundle bed was, since the trundle was on the floor and hanging off of that wasn't as uncomfortable. I'd also question if there's any weight concerns with it.

It was a great size for my 6 year old. I can't imagine sleeping on it and I'm a small adult (5'2").

its definitely not a crib size, our son who was 13 at the time and just under 5 feet slept ok on it. I am 5'2 and my feet were almost to the end. It is larger than a crib mattress but felt narrower than a twin. It opens onto the drawers beneath so not on the ground.

A standard crib mattress is 53 x 28, give or take a few inches depending. PP posted the dimensions of the murphy bed are 63 x 30. So a bit longer, but still gives an idea.

My 17 year old dd slept on it, she's 5'1 and about 180 pounds and said it was fine. I laid down on it one day and it seemed comfortable.

My tall 10 year old DD (she's 5'3') tried sleeping on it during our December trip and gave up after a few nights. We are rethinking our November trip to another resort because the murphy bed is just not feasible for us.

The drawers underneath were ok (and the only drawers in the room), but when the bed was down you could not access them. It was frustrating for us.

Just got home from Riverside. Too small for an adult to sleep comfortably unless they are very tiny. I laid down on it and it did feel ok but just not big enough. It sure does take up lots of drawer space.

Depends on the size and sleep habits of the adult. My 5'3" 100 lb. teen daughter slept on it without any problems. She's pretty still while sleeping. My 4'2" son can dominate an entire king-size bed and would have been a disaster on it.
