Port arrival time at NY port

If we arrive early at the port in NY will we be allowed to check in?

Our flight and transfer to port should get us there earlier than the 12:30-1:00port arrival time. (last minute booking and that was the earliest time available)

Would like to be able to "check in" early and understand our boarding number may be higher because of the check in time.

We had a 12pm arrival time for the 2 night cruise this weekend. No problem when we arrived around 11; We had boarding #10 and got on fairly quickly.

We cruised last week. Port arrival times were not checked. As passengers arrived, they were permitted to check in. Once boarding begins, things move very quickly. Have a great time.

On our 8/5 cruise, we arrived at 11:30. Our official check-in time was 12:30. We had no troubles and were in boarding group 12.
