Popcorn Buckets at WDW

I hope they have R2D2 in August when I go so I can bring it home to
my little nephew who LOVES Star Wars....

None to be found, even an important cm checked and there was none.

tie fighter yes, han solo yes. They are around the different popcorn vendors near the great movie ride. Although, they tie fighter is now put together. When i first got it, I was able to carry it in pieces and then put it together back home not sure if it would hold up well to removing the side pieces but i'm not going to try to find out.

However, popcorn they give you seems to have shrunk.

EDITED TO ADD: to find them easy, there is a printed menu above everyones head, it shows what buckets they sell. Everyone does not sell every bucket so keep checking the others if you don't see the one your after.

Sorry to wake this thread back up but I wanted to mention that I spotted (and purchased) cinderella's coach. It's back at WDW and I found it in one of the frontierland shops and I'm really sorry I don't have the specific shop name, I didn't think of looking it up as I generally never stop in these stores but it was so hot today that I was in every single one and found this surprise is back

WDW has had a fair number of premium bucket designs over the years. Some designs seem to be available for years (e.g., R2D2), while others come and go much quicker (e.g., holiday themed ones). I collect popcorn buckets and it's fun to see the variety of designs that have been released. I didn't get these buckets at WDW (I got mine at DLR), but generally speaking, the designs are often available in both parks (not always at the same time). There are a few designs that are resort specific. In addition to being popcorn buckets, sometimes they offer "meal deals" in one of the buckets. So be sure to look at the counter service locations to see if they have anything interesting.

TIE-Fighter (still currently available)

Before the TIE-Fighter, they had Darth Vader.

WDW and DLR both have a version of the Mine Train popcorn bucket (the basic shape is the same, but the coloring of the top is different between the two parks).

I think WDW also has the red Lightning McQueen popcorn buckets (the blue was the seasonal version at DLR).

They used to also have a Dumbo bucket.

Both parks also had a Zero popcorn bucket during the holidays (2014 and 2015 versions).

There are also seasonal Premium buckets, like Vampire Mickey (from 2015), Hatbox Ghost Mickey (from 2013), and Ghost Mickey (from several years ago).

And if you get to DLR in the near future, they also have these really cute Mickey Balloon buckets (they come in red, blue, or purple)!

I have the ghost Mikey and every year I put it out with a battery operated candle inside for Halloween.

We got holiday mickey popcorn buckets on the Disney Dream...supposedly they were sold in Disneyworld, but I never caved and bought popcorn for my kids there in MK or AK...then bought three GIANT mickeys for a show on the cruise ship...doh! This was a week ago.

yes but I'm not sure if there is a limitation on them or what parks still do it. I can't actually eat poporn (allergies) so I'm not fully up on the popcorn side of things.

I bought the regular refill bucket on December 18 and refilled it at MK, Epcot, and HS each day of our trip through the 22. At Epcot there is a stand over near Figment area with the flavored popcorn (Buffalo blue cheese, sour cream and chive, cheddar cheese or regular) for,$1.50 too. We weren't in AK long enough for me to check. Bummed I never spotted the Cinderella carriage one! Didn't get Holiday Mickey as it creeped me out it looked like you were eating his brains.

My understanding is yes but ask the CM when you go to buy it. they would be the refiller for some so for once will have accurate info.
