POFQ to International Gateway?

We'll be doing the 9am Parisian breakfast and were told it'd be better to enter through the International Gateway rather than walking from the front of the park. But I don't know of a good way to get from POFQ to International Gateway (at least, no way that wouldn't take longer than just walking from the main entrance to France)...any suggestions? Thanks!

We are also doing the breakfast but staying at Coronado. We plan on taking a taxi to the Beach Club and then entering. We could not come up with any other solution!

You could take a bus to DHS and then the friendship boat to EP IG, but honestly, that would take as long as walking from the front of the park.

I agree with you that the best way to get there is the Epcot bus. It will be about a ten minute walk, at least. Going to DHS and walking or taking the boat from there to the International Gateway would take at least a half hour.

If you were to take a cab to Beach Club, you are better off walking to The IG. It's literally 5 minutes. The boat would take way longer.

I'm going to the same event on the 17th. I created an Uber account and am going to Uber to the Beach Club. Failing that, I'll take a cab to the Beach Club.

Completely reliable and much cheaper than a taxi! It's all done on your smart phone. We used Uber 4x on our recent trip and had excellent experiences.

^ Yes, there an Uber app. You set up an account with them and enter you cc info. No money is exchanged with the driver and everything is done through the app. Once I knew I needed a ride, I went to the app and requested an Uber. I never waited more than 10 minutes. It really was very easy and made getting from resort to resort painless.

There's a great thread in the Transportation board about Uber written by an Orlando Uber driver with comments from other several driver in the area. It taught me pretty much everything I needed to know about using Uber at WDW.

Walking from the front of Epcot to the bridge just before France (~0.6 miles) is going to be longer than walking from Beach Club to the International Gateway (~0.3 miles), but I don't know that it's a huge difference in the end. They're going to hold everyone at the bridge until about 9:00 am. Last year, guests from the front gate arrived at about the same time as we did (the ones entering from International Gateway) and then a few minutes before 9:00 am, we were all escorted to Les Chefs.
