Hi all,

quick question if anybody remembers/has a photo. Are the wall outlets standard 2 plug outlets. Instead of short powerbar that would plug into just one outlet we're thinking of a travel plug bar but it has to plug into two outlets like we have in standard plugs at home. (Hope this makes sense!))

Thanks!

If you read through it, there is a photo of the plugs. Not a conventional set-up. It also depends which class of ship you're on.

We plan on bringing the Belkin pictured at the beginning of the post. 3 extension outlets & 2 USB outlets. Only takes one plug. Also the plug is rotatable so it can be positioned any way you want.

Here's a picture of the outlets on the desk (Magic & Wonder)

Thanks again Princess :) What we want to use won't work so we'll go with a small powerbar, it's all good. :)

Just bought a Belkin at our local Navy Exchange for you military folks. Looks like it will work great. It's actually a surge protector with a guarantee for your electronics plugged into it.

Are these needed for the rooms? If so, Why?

Do you mean the surge protectors? Since there are only 2 outlets easily available in the rooms, and many people have more things than that that they want to plug in (recharging) you may need something that will give you more outlets to plug into.
