Please Post Your Swimming Pool Pictures Here!!!

My DD5 in the Epcot fountains in the beginning of May (they are still open), we have always been so commando style on our trips, we never let her play before:rolleyes1 - we were more relaxed this trip, she had so much fun.

We almost always stay at the POP. All these POP pictures have me counting the days even more so. We opened our pool at home this past weekend. Its still GREEN and CLOUDY, and nasty. Theres little piles of leaves on the bottom. It will be a couple more days before its clear and blue, so these nice clear blue pools look even better today after cleaning mine all weekend!!!

Oh yeah, i like the kiddie pool at night pictures!:yay: I remember one trip in January when the regular pools (everything BUT the kiddie pool) were not heated. They were ICE COLD!!! There was a few brave teenagers and kids, but only 5 or 6. I turned the corner to the steamy hot kiddie pool and saw about 15 adults!!! We all laid in the kiddie pool for hours talking, while the kids were all in the non-heated pools jumping around and shivering.

We really only swim at night. I don't like being out in the full sun for anything. (I'm a wimp, I know! LOL)
Besides, it's so relaxing after the hot days.
Love the kiddie pool! It's a lot less nerve wracking with the littles.
(We had 4 under six last trip!)

I had an opposite experience with the kiddie pool -- we were there in Aug. '05, and Katrina was going through the FL Keys before she turned and came back north east.
The weather had been great all day, never know there was a hurricane in the same state, but that night while we were in the kiddie pool, this weird wind came up that was icy. It was still 90 degrees out, but I was freezing in the kiddie pool. The big pools were fine, because you could be almost completely submerged.
That was some of the weirdest weather I've seen!

This is a great thread! Sadly, I don't have any pictures to contribute. I will after September though! :goodvibes

I have a picture of my tall skinny 8 year old surrounded by toddlers in Pooh's playground and it is too cute.
You should see my 150 pound 10 year old thats 5 foot tall, splashing around in there with the kids. He don't care.:rotfl:

I have pictures of the Contemporary pools but I need to scan them. I have a busy graduation weekend coming up but will try to scan them next week.

Glad you found the thread! Hope everyone gets over to your review '*** it's AWESOME!!!Oops sorry this Alan Renfroe I'm talking about!!

this is a great thread!! hooray! Question... does the pool at AKL have a slide? I didn't see any pics of it. I'll try taking pool pics on my December trip to add to this thread. :thumbsup2

From the pictures it looks like there is at least one slide at the pool of the Caribbean Beach and AKL. Anyone know the age limit to go down this slide and if they allow arm floaties while going down it? Oh and also if they let a parent stand at the bottom of the slide, or how deep the water is at the bottom of the slide.

Thanks a bunch! As you can probably guess I have a 5 year old DD who is on the verge of swimming but I'm still not sure of how comfortable I am with it. :)

OH my....I totally missed the picture right before my post of the 5 year old girl going down the slide in her life jacket!!! ;)

Now, this is EXACTLY what I'm trying to get across. If you look at MOST of the pictures of this pool (even the ones here on this thread) You see this mysterious looking temple, the pool, and they seem to be kinda "alone in the jungle". Now, theres NOTHING wrong with that, and I like some of them a LOT, but THESE 2 pictures show the more "yeah, theres still a DISNEY CROWD" and theres STILL chairs and a "commercialized" side to the pool. :thumbsup2
Its just a different perspective when its taken by different people at different times from different spots!:thumbsup2 :goodvibes :goodvibes It helps show the whole picture, not just what the paid photographer is trying to show you.

Thats why I started this thread (and just for fun of course!).:cool1:

I have a quick kind of add on queston about the floaties etc...Does Disney provide the life jackets, or can we bring our own (At the resorts). If the resort provides them, is there a charge?? TY!!
