Hiya!

I'm going soon too...and I'm going to start packing as well.

So far, I've got

money
bathing suits
addresses of people to send postcards to (I'm a sucker for that one...)
snacks for the car
winter coats for the back of the car (got a flat in Detroit once!)
:scratchin :scratchin :scratchin
Books for DS for the car (I bought some new used ones at second hand stores so he'll have some surprises)
Bottled water
All the stuff I've printed out from the internet about Orlando
Entertainment book
Seaworld tickets (printed out at par)
comfy pjs
DS's nemo hoodie towel
shorts (I have NO idea what shorts will fit me and/or what is in the "maternity clothes" tote in the way of shorts...better get on that one)
Comfy shoes
sunscreen
after-sun
razors for legs!
toothbrushes, facewash, etc
detergent for laundry machines
pillows for the car
passports

What am I missing?? This is a fun game. Can we stretch it out for 2 weeks?? :crowded:

Beth princess:

LOL!

The only way we can stretch it is by adding one item per day!

Here's mine................

email address so you can send emails from Epcot. (well this won't help me this time since I won't be doing any Disney Parks)

janet

  • moleskin (and scissors) for heading off any tender spots
  • ibuprofen
  • credit card for emergencies
  • out of province health care card

I say double the money!!! and double the amount of shoes you're planning to take. I always take two pair of walking/running shoes - to trade off or if one gets wet. And at least one pair of flip flops or sandals for pool-side. Comfy feet are happy feet. There is too much walking to do at WDW so I'm never sorry that I spend extra time taking care of my tootsies!! :thumbsup2 Have a FUN trip!

Camera
Batteries
Film (if your camera isn't digital)
Pennies for pressed penny machines
Lanyard for pin trading
Crocs
A sweatshirt or hoodie for each of us in case there is a cold snap
Water wallet to put keys in at the pool
Water bottle strap

Clothes pegs for hanging wet bathing suits on the line above the tub; calling card if you will be making any calls home from the hotel; 2 way radios if you separate in the parks; health insurance...I'll think of more later!!! Tracey

I always take premade stickers for postcards with the addresses of the people I want to send them to. Its easier than taking an address book!
Spray deoderant for the feet (less perspiration)
Any OTC or Rx meds (in original bottles of course) you may need.
Rx for eyeglasses (just in case)
Favourite snack foods (that we can't get down in the sunny south)

Adding to the above, of the top of my head:
--power bar for the digital cameras, walkie talkies, cell phones, PDA's, laptop, kiddie night light, gameboys, ipods...
or is that just us? :rotfl2:

--room or bathroom deodorant
--can Lysol disinfecting spray (not if you're flying though, I guess)
--portable baby/hand wipes
--stick of stain remover
--ziploc bags ***'ted sizes
--e-mailed Ghirardelli coupons for yummy sundaes at Downtown Disney
--stickers of your own address details to slap on all those electronics/autograph books, etc. (I wrote in our cell phone #)
--batteries, digital memory cards
--that extra bag-tagged empty suitcase/bag for the souvies coming home!
--directions to & address of your resort
--photocopy of back of your admission tix

--ditto on The Crocs! :worship:

only if you'll help me......

my packing list
box all house contents for movers
then unpack them all in the new house
come on.... August 21.... please.... wanna help?? :rotfl2: :lmao:

How about walkie-talkies for the parks?
Photocopy of passports (did someone say taht already??)
Pillow for the car, especially the neck-kind...

Lysol is a good one. i would've forgotten that one! Thanks.

Where do I get these email coupons for Gharildellis (sp!) ?

Thanks!

Beth ;)

There's often talk of these on the Budget Boards, which is where I found out about it.

http://www.fishbowl.com/clt/ghrdl/lp/join/join.htm

You need to check off that you DO live within 50 miles of a store (otherwise you get sent only some smaller %off for online orders coupon).

In a few days you'll have a coupon in your e-mail for B1G1Free Sundae or 1 for 1/2 price. The coupon expires in 30 days. So do NOT sign up too early before your trip. You can unsubscribe, but it doesn't matter, your email will still be on record & you will need another e-mail to get coupons again.

You also get a coupon close to your Bday & other holidays of the year too.

The coupons have your name on them with a note to show ID as well (for the Bday ones anyway). We've used them & they were a Great Treat. The banana splits & sundaes are large & could easily be shared.

The chocolate store next to the Shoppe gives out free samples of their yummy chocolate too. :teeth:

Thanks!

Just signed up!

Hope I get them before we leave!

janet

To add to the above:
-Some of those cheap disposable ponchos ($1.00 each) for the water rides - unless you don't mind getting wet.
-Photocopies of your park tickets, if you already have them.
-Address of your hotel (for customs)
