Welcome aboard and on behalf of my family and I,

Thanks for your service!

Pop on over to the main thread and just jump right in. Things will be a bit quiet for you as most Dads are eastern and central time zones. The first page will introduce you to many of the characters

princess::upsidedow handles the night shift on the LAST thread but she is currently stateside enjoying all things Disney.

:welcome: Josh.... and as Shawn said... come over to our main thread and introduce yourself. That main thread is located here

So to translate that too...

What Steve is trying to say is:

Hope you have a spare bedroom or a big couch, and a good reservation system. There are over 700 of us looking for a place to crash.

Yeah what he said :rotfl2:

Well, in that case I can book your 11 months out if you have your points at my couch, 7 months out if they are at any other DisDad couch. Refer to the Aulani point chart and subtract 25 points to determine total number of points required for the stay. Also, you must provide a case of Yuengling upon check in, as that cannot be acquired on the island.

Another Yuengling fan? Welcome to the club!!! We can't get Yuengling here either... and we were only 200 some miles from the brewery. I have to get it from NY. I do have 2 cases on reserve. :thumbsup2

Here have a virtual 12 pack. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

And yes, as Brian made you aware - I'm right around the corner from you down here in Sandusky.

Brian's my nemesis and likes to take stabs at me any time he can. He's also bitter still because beer is so much cheaper down here in the good ole' US of A!:teeth:

Is beer cheaper?? Not sure...

See, our beer has alcohol in it. :lmao:

Your beer, sure looking at it bottle for bottle, it's definitley cheaper. BUT we can get a comparable product here cheaper than your beer.

Favorite food: anything...just add bacon

I've been reading a lot and finally decided to start posting as most of my family will not get as excited about our trip until after turkey day (also DW's Bday), Christmas, and DD's birthday right after New Years. My Bday happens to fall on Mardi Gras in 2014, so we are leaving the biggest free party on Earth to go to the Happiest Place on Earth for a week - no place I'd rather be. My DisDads qualifications? I love my family, love all things Disney, love bacon, love football, love coaching DSs' baseball teams, starting to love princess stuff because DD does. What makes me a DISdad? I sold half my SAINTS season tickets so I could afford to make our next trip extra special. This will be our 5th trip since 2004. DD barely remembers her fist in 2011 and this is the last one we will have while she is that perfect princess loving age.

Looking forward to joining the fun before, during and after our trip, then sticking around as the cycle begins again.
